This is WHY

Jesus Wept0

Why does Jesus weep before Mary, the deceased Lazarus’ sister?  And again, why does He weep over Jerusalem?

All those who have read my article “Man of Sorrows” will find no difficulty in understanding this.  As I keep reiterating, churches have been in vain but nevertheless persistently portraying the Lord as just another ‘man’ so that ‘men’ who run these churches may continue to bask in its suggestive glory.   It does not trouble them that Truth is lost to the masses and that just as it testifies in Isa 52:5, because of it, God’s holy Name is “CONSTANTLY blasphemed ALL DAY LONG.”

Misinterpreting “Jesus wept” is a case in point.  The ludicrous interpretation given to the ‘titled’ verse ‘Jesus wept’, taken from Jn 11:35, by these phoney ‘teachers’ is as much a testimony to their effusing arrogance as it is to their utter lack of knowledge of the lofty and surpassing ways and thoughts of the Lord.  Refer Isa 55:8-9, Isa 40:18, Isa 42:8, 48:11, Ps 50:21 etc.

Perhaps, as some would argue, the concept of Jesus weeping before the bereft and grieving Mary who was the sister of the deceased Lazarus might help to bring some comfort to someone who is grieving the loss of a loved one.  But then, think again!  For, isn’t it just an emotional comfort; yes, emotional and therefore merely carnal and temporal (not forgetting presumptuous!) in nature and not at all Spiritual and eternal as it ought to be?

Spiritually speaking, it truly does not hold any water!

Isn’t it simply ridiculous to even think that Jesus who had insisted Lazarus had only fallen asleep (Jn 11:11) and that He was going to wake him up (Jn 11:11b & 23) will suddenly be found mourning his ‘death’ along with Mary?

Let us look at a few other examples of same nature:

We find the same kind of erroneous allusion in Matt 8:24 which seems to literally suggest that Jesus was ‘actually’ sleeping while a storm was raging!

Therefore, as it happened, it was only right that Jesus should reprimand them for their lack of faith (Matt 8:26a).

And, pray, why not?  For isn’t it written, “… He who watches over Israel WILL NEITHER SLUMBER NOR SLEEP.” (Ps 121:4)  Just as Jesus Himself reiterates, “My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I, too, am working.” (Jn 5:17).  Also refer Ps 127:2b, “Unless the Lord watches over the City, the watchmen stand guard in vain.”

The Spiritual or the godly are not those who are led by logistics but by the Spirit of God.  This is why the Word of God teaches of the Peace of God which transcends all understanding to guard our hearts and minds (Phil 4:7).  In His own words, Jn 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Likewise, the verse in Matt 4:2 which states that after fasting forty days and nights Jesus was hungry!  And this even after Jesus had disproved it once and for all by refusing to change the stones to bread!  Refer Matt 4:3-4.

How much more will one go about belittling and dishonoring Him Who is the Word Incarnate, in Whom is the Words of Eternal Life and Who is Himself Life?  For hasn’t He Himself testified, “The Bread of God is He who comes down from Heaven and gives Life to the world.”  (Jn 6:33).

Refer Jn 6:68, Jn 3:16 etc.,  and try to understand exactly how was the Word of God absolutely fulfilled and proven in Him which states, “Man does not live on bread alone, but on every Word that comes from the mouth of God.”

Next is Matt 4:11.  Again, those who know the Word of God will know that angels worship the ‘Triumphant Lord” and serve Him or obey His bidding (eg. Rev 5:11-12, Rev 7:11).

In other words, just as Rev 5:11-12, Rev 7:11 etc. demonstrate, angels do not minister to the ‘Lamb who was slain’.  Rather, they WORSHIP Him.  Therefore, the words ‘attended Him’ in Matt 4:11 simply means, ‘worshiped Him’.

Indeed, it was not a time of fatigue or weakness, as some would like to see it portrayed, but a testament of Great Triumph for each one of us to learn from and emulate.  It calls for more worship.  That is exactly what the angels of God do unto Him who alone is worthy of all worship, honor, strength, wealth, wisdom, glory and praise!  And that is exactly what the angels invoke us to do too at all times (eg. Rev 5:12-13, Rev 19:10 etc.).

Again, it is the same when it seems to suggest that while He lay ‘dying’ upon the cross, Jesus was offered vinegar to quench His ‘thirst’.  Jn 19:28 states clearly it was “so that the ‘said’ Scripture would be fulfilled.” And not because Jesus was ‘man’ enough to cry out in thirst!

Same goes for the word ‘dying’.  To human eyes, it was death but the Truth is He was of His own accord entering Death and Hades – for a purpose.  Death and Hades had no power over Him.  So, just as He had entered it, He exited it after having accomplished His divine purpose.  Refer Jn 10:18.

Reverting to the title, so why did Jesus weep?  The answer is, the same reason why Jesus wept for Jerusalem (Lk 19:41).  Messiah wept for Mary just as He had wept for Jerusalem because she had also fallen behind in spite of the wonderful testimony she’d maintained until then!

Before we continue on Mary, let us read Lk 19:32 and understand what He states of Jerusalem at the time, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you PEACE..”  Also, Lk 13:34b, “…Often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings but you were not willing..”

And even though because of the obstinate defiance of the people of Jerusalem, this peace will remain hidden to Jerusalem until the prescribed time (Lk 19:32b, Lk 13:35), it did not remain hidden to Mary.

Why?  Because right from the time she had come to know the Lord, she had demonstrated exemplary Spiritual insight and a wonderful testimony of ‘godly character’.  For example, refer Lk 10:39 & 42.

And it was only a matter of briefest interlude before she was restored to her full Spirited zeal and vigor.  We find the Lord Himself, true to His amazing Love and Saving nature, reaching out to her yet again at that time of ‘total dejection’ she was feeling.  For there was His ‘elect’ who had never wavered in her faith – never, not even at that time of her great distress (Jn 11:32), yet had become so overwhelmed by her sorrow that she had begun to doubt her own worthiness.

Understand that it was because she had regressed into feelings of self-reproach and  unworthiness that upon hearing Jesus was coming, she could not bring herself to go to Him like Martha had (Jn 11:20).

It is indeed not uncommon to find many believers who like Mary begin to question their worthiness in the face of an unexpected tragedy or an unanswered prayer.  “Perhaps God does not love me after all; perhaps it is my past sinful life; perhaps I am not worthy of His love and forgiveness; perhaps I am being punished for all my wrongdoing…etc. etc.” are some of the many thoughts that assail them.  Often I come across people of supposedly long-standing faith who ask, “Why me?” when they are suddenly gripped by such overwhelming grief!

So it was with Mary!  But, ONLY UNTIL SHE WAS INFORMED THAT THE LORD WAS ASKING FOR HER!  For, no sooner had she heard those words, she wasted no time and hastened to meet Him (Jn 11:28-29).

What a comfort it must have been to her to know that not only was Jesus coming but He was asking for her in particular!  What a blessed honor!  What a blessed joy!

Knowing Him who is the Resurrection and the Life (Jn 11:25-26) and reawakening to His saving grace brought about such a blessed transformation in her.  From then on her testimony grew from strength to strength.  Soon, she went on to become the FIRST recruit to preach the wonderful Gospel of the “resurrected Messiah” (Jn 20:17).

And what is more?  Ref Mk 14:9, “I tell you the truth, wherever the Gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”  Yes, she had in turn come to partake of the eternal testimony of God for herself – that joyful vindication we all so eagerly await!

Be perfect0

Why does Jesus teach us to be perfect?  Does He actually expect the impossible of us?

When churches selectively teach only the Gospel of God’s amazing Love, His free gift of Salvation, His promise of Heaven for mankind, they make the Gospel sound surreal and not the wholesome Truth that it is.  Because, it is a fact that there are more people out there in the secular world who lead better righteous lives than these self-acclaimed righteous of God.  As such, it is but natural that they would want to do very little with them let alone the heaven they promise that is going to be filled with the likes of them!

As such, it’s a pity that they who are beguiled by the faulty gospel preached to them go on to add more of the likes of them to their lot by continuing to preach the self-same faulty gospel they have been raised in and keep genuine seekers of His righteousness and His kingdom out, leaving no room for hope for themselves in the bargain!

What makes this manner of teaching and preaching the Gospel faulty?  Why does it fail to produce fruits in keeping with the will of God?  For instance, why do they fail to perfect themselves as the entitled verse in   Matt 5:48 clearly exhorts?

Whilst majority of the so-called ‘Christians’ are happy to live under the delusion that Jesus couldn’t have meant it literally since according to them it is impossible for human beings to be perfect, the rest believe it is only the call to be born again – i.e., to be washed by the cleansing Blood of the Lamb.  Therefore the latter claim they have been perfected (!) by virtue of having had already heeded the aforementioned call – thus literally making a mockery of themselves and the half-baked notions they sell BY THEIR GLARING IMPERFECTIONS!

The end-result is that both classes of ‘Christians’ become exposed by their folly.  As, neither succeed in showcasing the hallmark characteristic of a godly person which is ‘THE INHERENT AND COMPELLING HUNGER AND THIRST FOR GOD’S SURPASSING RIGHTEOUSNESS’ that Jesus talks about in Matt 5:6, Matt 5:20, Matt 6:33 etc.

The hollowness of their ‘Christian’ personality comes across as evidently as the hollowness of the faulty gospel they preach and advocate.  Is it a wonder then that they are shunned by both the wicked and the godly – the two opposite extremes of the Spiritual spectrum – and are instead comprised of the ‘in-betweeners’ or the “lukewarms”, as the Spirit of God calls them (Rev 3:15-16), who are only fit to be spat out?

Personally speaking, they are those who are forever challenging me and resisting my ministry with such open retaliations as these, to quote a few:

“Do you claim that you are perfect?  For if you do then it shows what a liar you are?”

“Can’t you understand that nobody is perfect but that God loves us in spite of our imperfections?”

“As it is and for your information I am washed by the Blood of the Lamb, therefore I am perfected already and nothing you say will alter the fact!”

All doors shut on my face and all roads leading me farther away from these “self-righteous”, I looked to God for His counsel.  It is then that He unraveled the mystery of the parable of the Wedding Banquet in Matt 22:1-14 & Lk 14:21-23 which concludes in these verses, “For many are invited, but few are chosen.” and “I tell you, not one of those men who were invited will get a taste of My banquet.” respectively.

The True Gospel or the Good News therefore is this that God calls us and sets us apart so that WE MAY ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE BE MADE PERFECT AND HOLY.  Read 1 Pet 1:16, “For it is written, ‘Be holy, because I am Holy.’ “

Unless one perceives this INVALUABLE TRUTH one cannot even hope to seek all that He has promised which of course includes forgiveness of sins, salvation, eternal life and the very Kingdom of God amongst scores of other unmatched Spiritual and profound blessings of God (1 Cor 2:9).

It is, to begin with, the testimony of the Blood PROVIDED we have the testimony of the Spirit and the Word also concurring with it (1 Jn 5:6-7).

It means, just as the born-again experience is wrought in us through the combined ministry of the Spirit, the Blood and the Word of the Lamb (Jn 3:5-7), the perfection of it or the fullness of it can only be wrought in us by our continued fellowship with the Spirit so that we may continue to receive of the Word under the sanctifying Spiritual canopy which the Blood of the Lamb of God provides (eg. Jn 15:1-5, Jn 11:8b & 10a).

But, God forbid, if we continue to live in the old and sinful way that we did before receiving the cleansing of the Lord then to be sure we become GUILTY!  Not just guilty but IRREVOCABLY GUILTY as our condition would have without doubt worsened AT LEAST seven times! (Matt 12:43-45, Heb 6:4-6, Heb 10:26-31).

It is also important to note how the sin of willfulness creeps into our lives when though obviously ignorant we pretend we are not!  This is why Jesus states, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.” (Jn 9:41).

AS REGARDS THE PERFECTION, THE HOLINESS, HE ADVOCATES (eg. 1 Pet 1:15-16), it is the righteousness of God, which is the surpassing righteousness far above any law under the sun, even the Law of Moses (Gal 5:18 & 22, Jn 1:17).  Also read Matt 5:20.

To learn the same, one ought not to retrace one’s steps to the ‘Law of Moses’ or even to the Ten Commandments for that matter.  Rather, to the fullness of the righteousness of God made known since the beginning, which though man had cast aside came once again to be reinstated by the Son of God (eg. Matt chapters 5-7) and are now being reminded of and taught by the Holy Spirit to all who are willing to be taught by Him.

Yes, they are taught by the Holy Spirit and not by man or any church man has founded (eg. Jn 6:46).  IF IT WAS NOT SO, THE SON OF GOD NEEDN’T HAVE COME AT ALL!  As it is, man having been found unfaithful since the very beginning (Hos 6:7, Isa 43:27 etc.), it was fulfilled according to the pre-ordained purpose of God that Truth and True Righteousness be revealed to one and all by the Coming of the Son of God.

As for me, since I began to be trained under the divine tutelage of the Holy Spirit, I have been faithful to transcribe them to make them freely available to one and all just as it was commanded to me.  The fullness of the True Commandments of God or the Surpassing Righteousness of God can be freely availed of in this website.  The steady growth in the sheer volume of the work entrusted to me bears testimony to the fact that I have been careful to be faithful to them through perfect obedience and diligent teaching of them.  Let us remember, the key-word is OBEDIENCE:  refer Jn 14:23, “Jesus replied, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will obey My teaching.  My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.’”  Also refer to Rev 3:20, 1 Jn 9 etc.

It never stops to amaze me to find out how much there is to unlearn (all that was taught and ingrained in us by the unfaithful man) so that we may truly learn all that which is truly of God.  And as I press on I am able to reiterate for myself that which Paul testified concerning himself in Phil 3:12, “Not that I have already obtained all this or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.”

External beauty is skin deep –
It begins and ends with flawlessness.
Internal beauty is soul deep –
It begins and ends with an unblemished conscience.
(Therefore, be ye perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect.)

Son without a wife!0

The Son of God

People who have absolutely no spiritual insight fail to understand the “Son” part of the Triune identity of God.  They are those who enter into a ceaseless monologue arguing how can God have a ‘son’ without a ‘wife’.  This is the reason they fail to grasp the Gospel and the manner in which God raises His people who will be called “the children of God” or “the sons of God” (Matt 13:37-38a).

To begin with, we ought to first understand that God is not a physical being.  God is Spirit (Jn 4:24).  And that He is Triune, meaning He is the Union of Three – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Firstly, it means God is the Father because He created all things and He provides for all things.  This is the reason He has forbidden us to call anyone on earth ‘Father’.  For eg. Refer Matt 23:9, “And do not call anyone on earth ‘Father’, for you have one Father, and He is in Heaven.”

Secondly, it means that God is the Son because He is the Sole Heir of all that He has created and is to create.  Everything belongs to Him (for eg. Refer Jn 1:1-3, Col 1:15-20).  We must remember that as God is Spirit and not a physical being, the term ‘son’ does not in any way denote ‘sexuality’ of God.

The gender aspect to the word ‘son’ is of carnal origin, i.e. of man.  Spiritually, the word ‘son’ only means ‘heir’.  Hence at the regeneration or at the renewal of all things, children of God will be called “sons of God” or “co-heirs” with Christ (eg. Rom 8:17).

Lastly, God is the Holy Spirit, which means only God is Holy.  None can compare to Him or to the splendor of His majestic holiness.  Not even the angels who are also only the created.  We must also remember that there are other spirits called the evil spirits who are the fallen angels including Satan.  They are those who continue to oppose God and spread blasphemies.  For eg., read Rev 16:13-14.

Remember, to know God is to know Him in the fullness of His Triune Identity.

Again, we have to be careful to not to get carried away with our carnal minds.  Just like Mary did, albeit for a very brief moment, when she responded to her election.  Read Lk 1:24, “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”

We must understand that Mary’s role was only in offering her surrogacy.  Which she did and which is why the Son honors her election by also calling Himself “the Son of man”, ‘man’ being the God-ordained name of both the male and female of man (Gen 5:2).

The Son of God was otherwise conceived of the Holy Spirit.  As it testifies in 1 Jn 5:6-8, He is the One, in fact the Only One, who came by the Spirit (meaning the Spirit of God), the Water (meaning the Word of God) and the Blood (meaning the Lifeblood or Life of God as God has no physical form).  Which means He was neither born of the union of flesh nor of the seed of man.

He is the Holy God who remained Holy in Flesh for His is the Holy Flesh, worthy of the Perfect Sacrifice for the perfect atonement of the sins of this world.  And He remains holy, both in Flesh and Spirit.

For it was in the same Flesh that He was resurrected (remember the nail-borne hands He revealed  – eg. Jn 20:27) and in the same Flesh that He ascended back to Heaven.   And this is the reason it is written, He will return in the like manner and all will recognize Him at His Second Coming (eg. Matt24:30).

This is why we must understand that no human being or child of man by birth is born a child of God as each one is born into the curses of sin and death, borne by man (Gen 3:19).  ANY TEACHING TO THE CONTRARY IS AN ABSOLUTE LIE, A BLASPHEMY!  All perish like the beasts (eg. Ps 49:12).  This is why no other sacrifice was acceptable before God, whether of man or animal.  Least of all, of the animals, for they are not even created in the trinity image of God!   For eg., read Isa 66:3.

In order to become a child of God, as it is written in Jn 3:5-7, each one must be ‘Born Again” i.e. to be born of the Spirit and the Water to be awashed in the Blood of the Lamb.

Again, like Nicodemus had briefly, let us not get carried away with our carnal thoughts (Jn 3:3-4).

For simply put, it is a spiritual act which means to be led by the Spirit to His sanctifying Word which acts as the cleansing Water (Jn 15:3) and to His Blood which acts as the purifying Agent or ‘Soap’ (Rev 7:14, Mal 3:2).  Reverting to 1 Jn 5:6-8 quoted above, on the Day of His wrath these are the Three which will testify for or against us as the case may be.

Finally, note the stages in which God leads us to grasp the Truth fully.  So that we may understand that it was never the intend of God that we multiply in the flesh.  But in the Spirit.  We failed to do so in Eden.  After which, it was too late!  For men had begun to multiply in flesh like the beasts.  And like the beasts, they all perish away.  So, just as Mary did not need a man to become the mother of Jesus, Jesus in turn proves to us that He does not need a wife to bring forth His Offspring (Isa 53:10b).   Which is the Irrefutable Truth He seeks to lead us to – that He Alone is our Father and our Mother, the Rock out of Whom we are carved and hewn (Isa 51:1, Deut 32:18 etc.)

Suicide is wrong0

Why is suicide wrong?
Since the first known suicide of a godless traitor, the infamous suicide of Judas Iscariot, it is but natural that the godless should see it as a ready option.  So much so that, today in this world, which has scaled all pinnacles of godlessness, suicide has become not only TRENDY but also a RELIGION.
That SUICIDE is a doctrine and practice of the Devil is something people have yet to learn.
Just as ‘DEATH’ itself was lured into man’s world by the cunning ploy of the Devil (Gen 3:4-5), who is also called the ancient serpent (Rev 20:2), the doctrine of ‘SUICIDAL DEATH’ is sourced from devil’s bag of treachery (Matt 27:5) – as evidenced by king Saul’s death, who was infamously tormented by an evil spirit (1 Sam 16:14), and who had as a result, not surprisingly, opted for assisted death or indirect suicide (1 Sam 31:4 & 2 Sam 1:9-10). Not to mention, how his evil influence was also instrumental in the suicide of his ‘long forgotten’ armor-bearer! (1 Sam 31:5).
Perhaps it is not common knowledge, nevertheless, IT IS A FACT that snakes hasten their death and kill themselves under arduous physical duress of life-threatening injuries.
This is the reason Jesus calls Judas a devil (Jn 6:70-71). Indeed, ‘accursed of God’ is how he was prophetically alluded to in Deut 21:22-23.
Whatever be the garb under which ‘SUICIDE’ is advertised (for eg. Euthanasia) and encouraged (for eg. suicide bombings) or as it is in more recent cases, COERCED (for eg. overbearing cultic influence), taking of life whether it is one’s own or that of another is the DAMNING EVIDENCE OF GODLESSNESS.  THEIR CONDEMNATION IS CERTAIN (eg. Gen 9:5).
For man can at no stage presume to be either the giver of life or taker of life!  Even if he foolishly assumes he has by his own merit sired a few children!  It is nothing but presuming to be God.
Life is a gift of God, and it is God who grants life as well as sustains life in all His creations.  MOST OF ALL, IT IS GOD’S DESIRE THAT WE ENJOY LIFE ABUNDANTLY AND ETERNALLY (eg. Jn 10:10).
Is it any wonder then that the Devil should seek to thwart God’s purpose?
As for patient endurance and faithful perseverance in the face of suffering, it is granted unto them WHO PUT THEIR TRUST IN GOD.
This is the reason we find that even though on one hand Judas Iscariot ended up succumbing to his remorse (Matt 27:3-4), on the other hand, Peter’s life was spared – thanks to God’s intervention on his behalf (Lk 22:31-32, Lk 22:62).
Was God being partial between the two?  Definitely not!  For their deeds speak up for them as 2 Cor 7:10 will testify, “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation.., but worldly sorrow brings death.”
Clearly, though Peter was just as grief-stricken over his public denial of the Savior, he never stopped trusting in the Lord.  God’s Word rang out loud and clear to him, and he responded to it with a penitent heart (Matt 26:75, Jn 3:17).
He alleviates them in different ways.  For examples, by interceding on our behalf, as can be seen in Peter’s or Job’s cases; or, as it is written of the end times, when the days are going to be unbearably hot for the inhabitants of the earth, He will shorten the days for the sake of the elect (Matt 24:22, Mk 13:20), and to those who trust Him, He will Himself be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain (Isa 4:5-6).
IT IS A FACT, THE TRUTH.  My own husband whose cancer was diagnosed in its last stages, died peacefully in his bed at home after a month’s hospitalization where basically they could do nothing but test and confirm its spread to almost all parts of his body.
How? By experiencing God’s promises in death just as he had in life.  And as his family, we had no reason to lose faith either.  So there we were actually singing hymns and praising God by his deathbed.  And when the final moment came, prayerfully, we committed his spirit into God’s hands.
Without a tremor or the slightest display of discomfort or unease, he breathed his last as peacefully as he had lain there awaiting it.  What is more?  In his last hour he was rid of all outward manifestations of his illness – the swellings, the reddish-brown hue of the eyes etc.  Even the momentary breathing difficulty he had experienced prior to that hour!
We know he has entered his rest (Rev 14:13, Isa 57:1-2), just as it is promised in God’s Word.  Even today it resonates loud and clear in our hearts as it did when it was first given to us.  We also know with absolute certainty that he will partake of the First Resurrection, the resurrection of the righteous which will take place at the glorious Second Coming of the Lord.
That is the faith, the certainty, with which we live in this harsh and cruel world as we await our turn to enter His rest.
For, faith is the knowledge of God which is gifted by Him and Him alone.  All else is nothing but blind faith sourced from blind guides – the thieves whose purpose it is to steal, kill and destroy (Jn 10:10a), and only the blind will follow them.
Therefore, today, as you read this I pray that your eyes will be opened to Truth and to Life – ABUNDANT, ETERNAL AND FREE LIFE OF GOD.
May you be blessed just as we are!

Man of Sorrows0

Why is the Son of God also called a ‘Man of sorrows’?
When the Son of God appeared in Flesh and lived among men, He stood apart from them in ways men have yet to fathom.  For, outwardly He appeared like any other ‘man’ and also attired Himself just like every other ‘common man’.  That is right!  Not like their kings and rulers, nor their priests and rabbis, not even like their outlaws.
What is more?  He lived and moved among the commonest of them.
Yet, He stood apart from every single one of them.  So that, multitudes flocked around Him and followed Him –  to hear Him and to be delivered of their troubles.  For, that were just what He was doing.  So much so that it disturbed the rulers and authorities, and they in turn followed Him albeit for different reasons altogether!
“Just as there were many who were appalled at Him – His appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and His form marred beyond human likeness. ” (Isa 52:14).
“…… He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him, nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him.  He was despised and rejected by men, a ‘Man of sorrows’, and familiar with suffering.  Like one from whom men hide their faces, He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.”  (Isa 53:2-3).
WHY? :
BECAUSE HE BORE THE SORROWS OF THIS WORLD – our sufferings, our sicknesses, our afflictions of this world, even our iniquities, our curses and death.
He bore them as He moved among the masses, just as it is testified in Isa 53:2-3.   And He bore them TO THE cross, just as it is testified in Isa 52:14.  The sorrow that marred and disfigured His countenance on the cross, though briefly, was total and to its completion.  Thus in Him it was fulfilled once and for all.  And none need look elsewhere!
FOR HE BORE OUR SORROWS UNLIKE ANY MAN EVER DID OR CAN HOPE TO EVER DO.  Oh, and He definitely did not bear them like those who love to sit in Moses’ seat (Matt 23:4) and lord it over!
Everywhere He went (and He covered all the regions of Israel and Judea, even Samaria), He was visibly moved by compassion for the masses.  Looking at them, He grieved that they were like sheep without their Shepherd.  He wept with the grief-stricken.  And He was aggrieved that in spite of all God’s attempts to reach out to them and lift them from their miry pits, their spirits were in constant strife with the Spirit of God.  And now that He was amidst them, actually making the fullness of Him visible to them, they believed Him not.   So He wept for the disaster that they were willfully inviting upon themselves.  He mourned for the prophesied loss of their children.  He wept over their desolation!  (Matt 9:36, Matt 26:38, Mat 27:46, Lk 19:41-44, Gen 6:6, Lk 23:28-39, Jn 11:35, Eph 4:30 etc.)
He was not known to laugh nor smile, nor while away His time in frivolity and leisure.  He never uttered a careless word.
Every single Word He spoke demonstrated the Power and Authority of God over the world, so that people realized they were unlike any they were accustomed to hearing.  And true to His Word, they experienced His deliverance in every manner, unlike ever witnessed before by any man.
Yes, we must understand that He who is the Creator is also the Redeemer and the Judge.   And we cannot even come close to understanding the Son of God as ‘Man of sorrows’ if we fail to fathom why the Spirit of God grieves in the first place (Eph 4:30).
From the time it was first revealed (Gen 6:6) until the climaxing magnitude of it which will bring even Heaven TO A COMPLETE STANDSTILL FOR HALF AN HOUR (Rev 8:1), it is the Spiritual sorrow of God benighted to man, except to the discerning few (Lk 19:41-42).
I hope and pray that you are one among the few as in it lies your hope.  To that end, it is imperative that I now reveal why He bore our sorrows.   And the answer is simply this – He bore them so that we may be delivered of each one of them.  That is, (for eg., refer Isa 61:1-3):
  •  Instead of the curses, we may be blessed;
  • Instead of the heavy burden and hard labor, we may be yoked with His light and easy yoke;
  • Instead of sicknesses and afflictions, we may be healed;
  • Instead of sorrow and weeping, we may be filled with lasting Joy and surpassing Peace;
  • Instead of death, we may enjoy His Life – the abundant and eternal life of God;
  • Instead of the marred and fading beauty we inherit from our earthly fathers, we may be transformed into the   radiant glory of His holy likeness – our ‘lost’ likeness of the holy God, our Heavenly Father.
  • Instead of dying the slow death as testimonial tombs of mankind, we may live the victorious life as temples of the Living God;
  • Instead of a body that remains susceptible to sickness and death as it is to sin and its woes, we may receive the Heavenly body of perfect holiness and perfect freedom from all bondages;
  • Last but not the least, instead of eternal condemnation, we may partake of His eternal Salvation.
[Note: Obviously we can only experience the FULLNESS of all above after the redemption of our bodies into the holy and heavenly bodies.  Nevertheless, the good news is that He allows us to sample them in abundant measures in our earthly bodies so that we are guaranteed of His infallible promises.  (eg. Eph 1:13-14)]
We who are likewise trained to grieve in the Spirit (Matt 5:4, Ezek 9:4, Jer 9:20 etc.) soon find ourselves  aggrieved that in spite of all the blessings made known to them, men continue to reject Him.  Even though He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities and He carried our infirmities, they lift their fists to His face and accuse Him that He does not care!
What is most appalling?  Even though He is the BLESSING our souls seek, they call Him ‘ACCURSED’!  Oh, yes, even that!  Read Isa 53:4-12, “Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him, and afflicted.……….”
They did it then and THEY DO IT EVEN NOW.  Read Gal 3:13.  While at it, also read Deut 21:22-23, the referential text on which it is based.  Read the two verses and ask yourselves, how the two can even remotely refer to the ‘Blessed One’?
How can He, IN WHOM THERE IS NO SIN, become a curse, a byword?  Yet men call Him just that.  The Jews and the Gentiles alike, as Gal 3:13 will testify.  For in so doing, DO THEY NOT SEEK TO JUSTIFY THE CRUCIFYING OF HIM?
Because, first of all, the original text (Deut 21:22-23) as mentioned earlier DOES NOT IN ANY WAY allude to Jesus or His death.  How blind these guides are is prima facie evidenced by the fact that they clearly see no difference between ‘NAILED TO THE CROSS’ and ‘HANGED ON A TREE’!   Just as they do not between the Innocent and the guilty and between holy God and mortal man!
The Truth is that Deut 21:22-23 prophesies about Judas, the son of perdition, who is the accursed of God and a devil (eg. Jn 6:70-71) – PROVING HIMSELF FOR WHO HE IS BY HANGING HIMSELF TO DEATH ON A TREE (Matt 27:5).
Just as Zech 11:13 also prophesies of his treachery, where the Lord reveals that He will be valued at thirty pieces of silver.
Though king Saul’s death may also be deemed as an indirect act of suicide, it is Judas Iscariot who sets the precedence in exposing the devil in man by his suicide.  INDEED IT DOES NOT COME AS ANY SURPRISE TO LEARN THAT THE EVIL ACT OF SUICIDE IS SERPENT’S INHERENT OPTION!
We must understand that God’s holiness is that which cannot be tainted or tarnished.   This is why though men ridicule Him and speak ill of Him, though they blaspheme His holy Name and testify falsely against Him, He remains UNTAINTED AND UNTARNISHED.  (This is the reason why they seem to get away with it for now,  or at least until at last they would have filled up the measure of their sins and their own words will condemn them!)
And this is precisely the reason why only He was eligible to bear our sins, our sufferings, our sicknesses, our death and our curses.  Only His holiness could triumph over them all and come unscathed.  He is the only One to have overcome the world just as He is the only One to have overcome death (Jn 16:33b).
And so He proved to all and sundry, when even though for a brief moment it had seemed to appear that the Father had rejected Him on the cross (Matt 27:46), the very next moment He was witnessed committing His Spirit to the Father (Lk 23:46).
And a Roman centurion who was a witness to it testifies, “Surely this man was the Son of God!” (Mk 15:39).
“.. All nations will be blessed through Him, and they will call Him ‘BLESSED.”  (Ps 72:17)
What spirit of man can understand the overwhelming sorrow of the Lord, weighed down by which He was seen to bleed from His forehead in the garden of Gethsemane, on the eve of His crucifixion?  What spirit of
man can fathom the sorrow which transfigures itself into the cleansing Blood – the Blood that He shed even before He was laid on the cross?  And what spirit of man can claim the credit for His vicarious sacrifice when He was already pouring Himself out like a drink offering for us?  What spirit of man can understand the sorrow of the Son as He momentarily also shouldered the sorrow of the Father who had to momentarily reject His people so that He may Himself work out their salvation for them in order that they may be united to Him forever?
To those whose eyes will open and whose spirits will understand, it has also been revealed that He will pour out on them the Spirit of Grace and Supplication.  And they will look on Him, the One they have pierced, and they will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for Him as one grieves for a firstborn son.  The weeping among His people will be indeed great on the day of their revelation (eg. Zech 12:10).
And it will be fulfilled unto them, just as He has promised in His time of mounting distress, “For I tell you, you will not see Me again until you say, ‘BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD.’” (Matt 23:39)
Oh!  Blessed are You O Lord Who comes in the Name of the Lord!  Come Lord Jesus!  Come!

36. Trinity of man is warped0

Why is it not only wrong but also blasphemous to compare the Trinity of God with just anything, for example, an egg OR as some prominent churches do, with the sign of cross?

First of all, how I wish people would understand that it is so much simpler to obey God and enter His counsel than to resist Him and become blinded by arrogance!

Just as the Word of God states in Isa 55:8-9, our thoughts and ways are as separated from His Thoughts and Ways as the earth is from the heavens. The only Way we may gain access to His lofty Thoughts and Ways is by perfect obedience.  For this is His will concerning each one of us; the spiritual growth He desires in each one of us:– To begin with perfect obedience and thus grow into the marvelous counsel of God!

That is, from beginning as His faithful servants to becoming His richly endowed ‘friends’.  For example, note how the chosen disciples earned it and how they were encouraged to retain it (Jn 15:15-16).

Or, understand what John the Baptist meant when he testified, “…The friend who attends the Bridegroom waits and listens for Him, and is full of joy when he hears the Bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete.” (Jn 3:29)

Failing to obey God and enter into His counsel is the reason the world is flooded with false teachers and false prophets.  For the Spirit testifies in Rom 1:20, since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – His ETERNAL POWER and DIVINE NATURE – have been clearly made known from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Since the beginning IT HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED that ‘man’ – WHICH MEANS BOTH MALE AND FEMALE’ are they that are created in the image and in the likeness of God (Gen 1:26-28, Gen 5:2).  How then can anything else represent the image and likeness of God?!!!!

Yet, it  will be NAIVE to assume that we represent His image in our physical nature, for such a conclusion will only betray our ignorance of God.  No more or no less naive than the first man who could not perceive beyond the physical – the flesh and the bones (Gen 2:23).

For God is Spirit (Jn 4:4).  He is not a physical Being. “I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the Imperishable.” (1 Cor 15:50).

Clearly, among other things, which I shall not venture into here as I have written about them in detail in many of my articles, for eg. The Good News & Prophecy to The Church, The Truth about the Old and the New Covenants – the Ultimate Revelations! etc., IT IS THE TRINITY IMAGE OF GOD THAT IS FOUND REPRESENTED IN ‘MAN’.

Owing to the fall of ‘man’, even though they now bear only the marred image, the marred likeness, this is still noticeably and therefore undeniably true of them.

Yes, even in our marred representation, we stand apart from all God’s creation for the distinctive Trinity Image we bear in the likeness of God who is Triune.  To reiterate, ‘man’, i.e. both the male and the female, are the only ones of God’s creations who REPRESENT the Trinity Image of God in their trinity combination of ‘the body + the spirit of life + the soul’.

Undeniably, this feature of their trinity combination (however marred) continues to testify to the TRUTH.  For this is the DIVINE NATURE of God.

Understand also that the added component of soul that is found in ‘man’ unlike all other beings represents the ETERNAL POWER of God.  For the souls of men are eternal. (This is the reason His unfailing love provided for the salvation of the fallen ‘man’.  God does not desire that ‘man’ should perish.  Because, otherwise it would mean eternal death for them.)

So that, it is just as the Word testifies, we are cut or hewn from the One and the Same Rock (Deut 32:18, Isa 51:1).  The same Word which went on to testify to the Truth once again, but this time in Flesh (Jn 1:14), and made Himself visible to one and all when He offered Himself up to become the Perfect Sacrifice for the atonement of our sins.

Therefore, as it is written at the Coming of the eternal Kingdom of God, though He will once again create all things anew ,‘man’, i.e only the saved among them, will be the only ones who will be the regenerated of this world. And what a regeneration!  Perfected in every way in order that they may partake of the perfect glory of God and dwell with Him in Heaven.

Remember the ‘naked man’ of Eden was created a little lower than heavenly beings evidenced by the fact that they were placed not in heaven but in Eden.

This is the reason our salvation only BEGINS when we are revived in our souls by His Spirit and the Word (the ‘Born-again’ experience – “For you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the loving and enduring Word of God” – 1 Pet 1:23), and it does not finish or is not consummated until and unless we are revived in the SPIRIT OF ETERNAL LIFE and in the HEAVENLY BODY (by the ‘First Resurrection’ of the Righteous – “For the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: ‘Death has been swallowed up in victory.’” – 1 Cor 15:54).  Yes, all three components that constitute our trinity to represent the Trinity image of God SHOULD BE REVIVED to make us perfectly whole again.

So that, we may receive the promised abundant life, the three-fold life, endowed as we will be then with eternal life, eternal body and eternal soul.

Not so in the case of the perishing, whose souls though eternal will be subjected to eternal death as bereft of living spirit and living body, theirs will be the eternal agony in their tell-all spiritual ‘nakedness’, even though they might falsely claim they have been spiritually revived.  Thus, at the resurrection of the righteous, all men will be exposed beyond doubt.

As such, please understand that making a sign of cross to symbolize the Trinity of God even if it is on one’s own  person is UTTERLY WRONG!

What has the head, shoulders and chest got to do with the Trinity of God when they are physical attributes of our earthly body waiting to perish?

Or for that matter,  what has flesh, bone and blood got to do with the Trinity of God when in the manner of speaking they are merely akin to the components of an egg, all physical attributes of earthly matter waiting to perish?

Can the Imperishable be confined or expressed in the perishable?!!

So that it is true of ‘man’ alone, who though were once created in the image and likeness of God and since lost it due to their fall, may at last and once again come to fully represent Him.

This can only be attained after they have attained the perfect Trinity combination which is the Trinity combination of God.  By adding up in the manner of the following summation of God: 1+1+1=1x1x1 which we know equals THREE TIMES THE ONE OR THE TRIUNE which constitutes the perfect Trinity of God.

The marred image of the fallen ‘man’ (Gen 5:3), on the other hand, fails to achieve the same summation.  Sadly due to the baffling incredulity arrived at by the summation of all kinds of fractions that their marred ones come up with.  And therefore theirs is the summation best described as 0+0+0=0.

However, let us not forget it is this zero that God wishes to make whole or ‘One’ once again so that we may be restored to Him and live in the perfect harmony of added oneness with Him who alone is One and Eternal.  In this manner (1+0) + (1+0) + (1+0) = into THE PERFECT ONENESS OF GOD  as described in Jn 17:20-23.

37. Man is an impersonator0

Why do mere mortals pose as “gods” or “god-men”?

Recently I chanced upon an article titled rather misleadingly, “Why do worshipers seek to be worshiped?”

I use the word ‘misleadingly’ because it should have been titled, “Why do men at the pulpit seek not to worship but to be worshiped?”

Therefore, I must add, if I was expecting some kind of a confession, then I was sorely disappointed.

Here again, by wording the title very cryptically these men at the helm of religious affairs, whose only desire it is to usurp the honor due to God, instead of making a clean breast of it attack the hapless “worshipers” they so pretend to lead.

However, such things must take place so that they are fully exposed. And along with them the flocks who give themselves up to be misled!

For, unbeknown to man, even when he rebels against God and rejects His counsel, he only ends up disproving himself and proving God right.

For example, note how when God taught His people about the ‘Lamb of God’ He would Himself provide (Gen 22:13-14) for the perfect atonement of the sins of the world, the people, instead of turning to God for the promised Lamb, began to offer futile sacrifices of defective lambs from their own depleting mangers (Mal 1:14).

And to this day men continue to offer their goats and lambs and what have you, all to no avail, and disprove themselves!

Likewise, though the creation of ‘man’ proclaimed the Gospel of the Coming Messiah by creating them in the image and likeness of the One who is to come, men rejected the knowledge outright and began to glory in themselves. Right from the very beginning, starting with the very first man!  Read Gen 2:23.

This is the reason even when they pretend to lead fellow-men in worship; soon they become EXPOSED by the fact that they themselves become objects of worship.

Oh, yes, men have only gone on to disprove themselves with every word and deed of theirs. And while they stand stripped to their nakedness, the glory of God, on the other hand, is manifested more and more to the discerning!

Therefore, everywhere I look, I see the fulfillment of God’s Word. Even when men are at their vilest, I see the fulfillment of God’s Word concerning them and rejoice at the contrasting glory and beauty His holiness presents.

To me, the futility of their lying lips only goes on to magnify the Truth of God’s infallible Word even more. When the world busies itself in exalting man to whatever heights it may raise him to, I only see him return to dust, forgotten and trampled upon (Gen 3:19).

For, whether worshiped, sought or adored, this is the fulfillment of the Word of God concerning every mortal born into this world.

Therefore, celebrate the Sabbath for it will be a sign between God and you (Ex 31:13) for every Sabbath in your life will remind you and lead you to rejoice and glory in the Lord of the Sabbath at all times.  Exalt His holy Name.  His and His alone.  For He Alone is worthy!

And remember that in sharp contrast we are but mortals and fallible.  As such, I would also exhort you to build for yourself the heart of a true worshiper which is this:  “Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” (Ps 90:12)

For such a worshiper will not stumble, but will stand firm and upright as oaks among the fading grasses of this world (Isa 61:1-7).

38. Churches silence women0

Why do churches lord it upon their womenfolk and like their Jewish predecessors insist that women ought to remain silent and learn from their men (eg. 1 Cor 14:34-35)?

No. 1, because in their rebellion toward God they do not acknowledge that the “Old Covenant with man”, thanks to their unfaithfulness, has since become OBSOLETE. But in order that they may gain control over His people by pretending to partake of the “New Covenant with the Son of man”, they actually continue in that which was rendered obsolete – which is the old covenant.

This is the Spirits’ warning revealed in the Word of God concerning them and their ministry of the mixed wine, of the old with the new, a ministry which has robbed them of their understanding!  Just as Jesus has exposed them when He uses the metaphor of ‘the New Wine in old wineskin’!

No. 2, because in spite of their remarkably inherent capacity to fail, they refuse to acknowledge their continual guilt of unfaithfulness and disobedience toward God.

This is true of each one of them, beginning with the very first man.  And therefore to-date like the first man they refuse to repent and instead continue with their teachings of self-glorification!

And this is precisely the reason why the Old Covenant with man, i.e. the male (eg. Gen 2:17), came to be irreparably broken, and in its place came about the fulfillment of that which is known as the “New Covenant”.

In Truth, the New Covenant is the Everlasting Covenant with the Son of man (Gen 3:15), and which not surprisingly has forever reversed the roles BY BEGINNING WITH THE FEMALE.  Eg. Isa 7:14, Jer 31:22, Mk 14:9, Jn 20:17 etc.

See the truth that emerges from the beginning.  Just as the God-ordained name ‘man’ included both male and female (Gen 1:26-28), His purpose has been established since of old:

a)  Did not the calling of Noah include his wife and daughters-in-law?  And at the same time, let us also understand why the said calling came to be nullified.  Because here again man’s persistent dependency on the broken and nullified Old Covenant is exposed as Noah and his sons are themselves exposed by their unfaithfulness one way or the other!

b)  Did not Rebecca having realized that her husband did not have the answers inquire of the Lord herself and was well rewarded with His counsel for her trouble?

c)  Did not the Lord send Word directly to Sarah and make it absolutely certain to all concerned that she had received them when Abraham, having repeatedly failed to acknowledge her inclusion and prominence in his calling, fails to pass on the Word to her himself?

Oh, the list is endless.  The point is – The failure on man’s part to acknowledge the truth is exposed, whether Jew or Gentile!  As the churches in turn have exposed themselves!!!!

Note how the churches have sought to rebel against God and corrupted His Word by adding to it their self-glorifying teachings:

Read 1 Cor 14:34a which begins, “As in all congregations of the saints, women should remain silent in the churches….”

This is the reason as long as people choose to live by their accursed pride they will continue to put their trust in mere mortals or man and his teachings (Jer 17:5).  Led by their carnal spirits of immediate gratification, never mind how short-lived, theirs remain the unproductive and short-sighted vision of here and now.

Refer 2 Pet 1:5-9, “For this very reason, make every effort to add to your Faith, Goodness; and to Goodness, Knowledge; and to Knowledge, Self-control; and to Self-control, Perseverance; and to Perseverance, Godliness; and to Godliness, Brotherly Kindness; and to Brotherly Kindness, Love (all fruits of the Spirits – Gal 5:22, against which there is no law!).  For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive……  But if anyone does not have them, he is NEARSIGHTED and BLIND, and has FORGOTTEN THAT HE HAS BEEN CLEANSED FROM HIS PAST SINS.”

Just as Jesus exhorts and testifies, “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matt 6:22-23).

Only God is the True Light and His Word, the True Lamp (Rev 21:23, Ps 119:105).  Just as it testifies with regard to the First Coming of the Son of man in Jn 1:4: “In Him was Life, and that Life was the Light of men.”

Therefore all those who live by the Word of God, walk in His Light and are called ‘children of Light’.  “For the fruit of the Light consists in all Goodness, Righteousness and Truth.” (Eph 5:9).  And it is them of whom Jesus declares, “You are the light of the world….” (Matt 5:14).

Yet to the fatal testimony of wicked men everywhere, even though, “Light shines in the darkness, the darkness has not understood it.” (Jn 1:5)

There is no question of the futility of following mere mortals (Jer 17:5).  And, the more they do so, the more it exposes them.

Above all, these men who rule the roost of Christendom, forgetting that they were themselves cleansed of their past sins, by silencing the women thwart the very Word of God which was established since of old, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit.” (Zech 4:6).

Oh yes, they have only added to their accruing guilt by resisting, quenching and grieving the Spirit Who is poured out on all people irrespective of any man-enforced differences, just as was promised (Acts 2:16-21).   Matt 12:32, “Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.”

39. The Son is the Heir of God and man0

What is the full implication of the word “Son” in the term ‘Son of man’ when used  in reference to Jesus Christ, the Son of God?

Let us understand the full implications of the Word “Son” in the divine term “the Son of man” used in reference to Jesus Christ, the Only begotten Son of God:

Having already clarified the true implication of the otherwise much misinterpreted Word ‘man’ in the said divine term, it is time I start hitting home the nail of truth concerning the Word “Son” also.

At the outset, let us recall that spiritually speaking the word “son” means “the heir”.   As such, it has got nothing to do with the gender of the beholder for God is Spirit and therefore physical attributes do not pertain either to God or to the godly.

This is why “the Son of God” means “the Heir of God”, and it is the reason why Jesus is called the Only Begotten Son of God for He was and is the Only Heir of God.

However, God by His great and awesome power has ordained that man may partake of the divine “heir-ship” so that we who are now separated from Him because of our sins may forever be restored to Him by the holy Covenant of His Blood TO BE MADE HOLY AND CALLED SONS AND CO-HEIRS WITH CHRIST (Matt 13:37-38a, Matt 13:43).

Consequently, as it has been revealed since the beginning Jesus Christ is also the Firstborn over all creation (Col 1:15).

In other words, it is also the holy confirmation of our surpassing Calling!  For, this is the reason or the knowledge by which Abel glorified the Son by offering some of the “firstborn” of his flock and thereby winning the favor of God in so acknowledging the Word and glorifying Him who Alone is worthy of all glory.

Likewise, the term “the Son of man” means exactly the same!

That Jesus Christ is the Heir and the Firstborn of man (Ps 89:27).  For having been conceived of the Holy Spirit, in Him is first fulfilled the pre-ordained purpose of God which was to raise godly offspring from among man (Mal 2:15a).

On the other hand, man, who had from the very beginning sought to rebel against God, have only succeeded in harvesting wind for all their troubles!   Refer Isa 26:18, “We were with child, we writhed in pain, but we gave birth to wind. We have not brought salvation to the earth….”

Indeed, it is just as the Word of God states, “Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit..” (Jn 3:6) and “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing..” (Jn 6:6).

Therefore while He who is born of the Spirit lives on, they that are born of the flesh return to dust!

However, be sure, they that believe in Him and are “born again” of the Spirit and the Word (Jn 3:5-7) and live the new life of the Spirit, bearing the good and lasting fruits of the Spirit, will likewise live on, because the Second Death or the Eternal Death will have no power over them (Rev 20:6).

Just as it was demonstrated by the Son of God when on the third day He rose from the dead – thus revealing Himself to be also the Firstborn from the dead (Col 1:18, Rev 1:5).

And thus, they shall also be called the “sons” of God.  “Because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” (Rom 8:14).

What’s more?   If sons, then heirs too.  “Now if we are children, then we are heirs – heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory.” (Rom 8:17).

And they shall only be given birth to (Isa 66:7-11), which spiritually speaking means “be revealed” at the Second Coming of the Lord in all His glory (Rom 8:18).  For it is not the work of the flesh but of the Spirit, and therefore the Lord Almighty Himself will accomplish it at the Appointed Time.

For eg., read Isa 42:13-17, “The Lord will march out like a mighty man, like a warrior He will stir up His zeal; with a shout He will raise the battle cry and will triumph over His enemies. ‘For a long time I have kept silent, I have been quiet and held Myself back. But now, like a woman in childbirth, I cry out, I gasp and pant. I will lay waste the mountains and hills and dry up all the vegetation; I will turn rivers into islands and dry up the pools. I will lead the blind (meaning the spiritually blind) by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough place (meaning teaching of men that cause us to stumble and fall) smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. But those who trust in idols, who say to images, “You are our gods,’ will be turned back in utter shame.’”

40. Be fruitful0

Why should we be fruitful?  And what does it really mean?

Understanding that the God-ordained way for man is to be fruitful and multiplying in the Spirit :

Because it has always been the God-ordained purpose for man that they dwell with Him (Jn 14:1-4).  And how?  By filling it.

Right from the beginning because man failed to fulfill this purpose of God, they fail to understand that the way they multiply is in the manner of the beasts.  And so they continue with their unions or marriages as they call it,and like the beasts even though they multiply they continue to perish: “…….. he is like the beasts that perish.” (Ps 49:12b).

He fails to understand that when he fell from grace in Eden, he fell in every manner. Most importantly in their surpassing calling which had initially set them above all the beasts and livestock of the earth, the birds of the air and the creatures of all water-bodies of the earth (Gen 1:26, 28)!

So that, while it was possible to become fruitful and multiply in the God-ordained or “blessed” manner in Eden they had failed to do so.

Why blessed?  Because what came after the fall is the “cursed” manner, the beastly manner (Gen 3:16).  The Spirit’s way is the blessed manner.  This is why Mary’s holy conception deemed her blessed (Lk 1:28 & 48).

Instead, by inviting death through his disobedience (Gen 2:15-17, Gen 3:17-19), forget fruitfulness, forget multiplying, ‘man’ had in effect ended up losing themselves as well.  So that they could neither enter heaven nor fill it!

For, having fallen from Grace, which is the Word of God that was entrusted to him he failed to guard himself in the Spirit and ended up breaking faith with his wife.  Ref Mal 2:15.  Under the circumstances it became impossible for them to live in the Spirit and bear fruits and multiply in the Spirit.

Yet, unrepentant, the male continued to remain alienated in the Spirit.  Thus overlooking the blessed calling of the female which proclaimed the end of the enemy (Gen 3:15), he very surreptitiously took advantage of the curse that befell her (Gen 3:16) and subjected her to his rule so that since then they began to multiply in the cursed manner i.e. in the flesh – JUST LIKE THE BEASTS!

This is the reason even among the so-called godly, marriages or sexual unions will continue till the very end, just as Jesus prophesied (Matt 24:37-39).  Because men at large remain foolhardy thanks to their waywardness. They continue unrepentant and unyielding to the Spirit, even those that outwardly pretend otherwise.

And this is precisely the reason why it was declared since of long with regard to the holy Bride of the Lamb, the true children of God, whose Husband is the Lord God Almighty, eg. Jer 3:14a, “Return, faithless people,” declares the Lord, “for I am your Husband.”

For true fruitfulness among mankind can only come about by the work of the Spirit and the Word (Jn 3:5-7).  It is the fruitfulness not of the ‘born’ of the flesh but of the ‘BORN AGAIN’ of the Spirit.

Who can tell where the Spirit is moving and gathering those His own before the Appointed Time (Jn 3:8)?  This is why it is written, “’Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband’ says the Lord.” (Isa 54:1).

May those who understand, understand and take heed.  Finally, here’s a parable that sheds true spiritual insight.  Refer Lk 14:15-23, “……….. ‘Sir,’ the servant said, ‘what you ordered has been done, but there is still room.’  Then the master told his servants, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be FULL.  I tell you, not one of those men who were invited will get a taste of my banquet.’ “
