Spiritual History of Mankind26

Prologue:   Often I come across comments in the website from those who are able to acknowledge the infallibility and irrefutability of God’s Word that I deal with, seeking to know how I had come to acquire it when no one else seem to be knowing or teaching it.  Somehow, it appears unconvincing to even people with best of intentions that the Holy Spirit is actually teaching me, as I declare in my home page.  They want me to furnish the ‘written source’ so they could also look up or link up with.  Hence, this time I have decided to add by way of prologue a little insight into how one can learn from the Holy Spirit.

Now, the Bible may be compared to this world.  A fact that Jesus has been driving home to us through the ‘parable of the weeds’.  This world has come to harbor all kinds of beings – men, animals, fowls of the air etc.  Even demons and evil spirits.  In addition, since that Day of the Pentecost after Christ’s ascension into Heaven, the Spirit of God has come down and taken temporary residence in this world with the sole purpose of readying His Church. However, as it is written of “The Spirit of Truth”, read Jn 14:17, “The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him.  But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you.”

Similarly, the Bible has come to cater to all kinds of people with all kinds of needs that Truth Itself is entirely overlooked and ignored, though It has been right there all the time. The reason being that, though this world and the Scripture are the wonderful works and provisions of God, the corruption of them are the handiworks of men.

Therefore, the Word of God has declared, “The earth will become desolate because of its inhabitants, as the result of their deeds.”(Mic 7:13); “I will make man scarcer than pure gold, more rare than the gold of Ophir.” (Isa 13:12); “…The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding Your servants the prophets and your saints and those who reverence Your Name, both small and great – and for destroying those who destroy the earth.” (Rev 11:18).

Just as it is with the world, so it is with the Bible.  One who seeks Truth finds oneself at a loss as to where to begin and how to get there. When I began to seek Truth, the first thing I noticed was that lies became instantly apparent.  But there was no way of telling it or being absolutely certain.  Because, all who preached from this Book, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, were supporting these lies so that I had to flee from them.  Like many, many, many others, I’m sure – read Jn 10:4-5, “When He has brought out all His own, He goes on ahead of them, and His sheep follow Him because they know His voice.  But they will never follow a stranger, in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.” I knew with certainty that what they had to offer was not what I was seeking.  And I was determined I would not settle for anything less than the Truth.  Deep within my heart I knew that they were profaning the Name of God by not showing Him Just and Holy, rather portraying Him to be like themselves!  Like it testifies of them in Ps 50:21 which says, “.. you thought I was altogether like you.  But I will rebuke you and accuse you to your face.” Or read Ps 94:20, “Can a corrupt throne be allied with You – one that brings on misery by its decrees?”

And that is when God’s Word came to me and I realized Help is close at hand. And just as it was with prophet Ezekiel (Ezek 3:24-27), literally bound within the four walls of my house, I began to be taught by the Holy Spirit.  To my immense surprise and joy, I discovered I could just ask him whatever it was I needed to know and He was right there teaching me.  His method is very simple.  He will first answer and then confirm it by the Word.  He showed me how Truth is both infallible and irrefutable because It always concurs with the Words of the Father and the Words of the Son.  Therefore He would always take me back and forth to the very beginning and then to the Gospels where the teachings of the Son are found and which are reiterated faithfully in all the prophets that came in the interim. Often, when something needed explaining He would take me to those other portions of the scriptures, and I would instantly discern and understand fully and clearly.

[For eg. When I wanted to know how to fulfill the Greatest of all Commandments and love Him with all of myself, He took me to the passages on king Josiah – who is testified as a king or ruler who is neither preceded nor followed since for obeying this commandment perfectly.  I studied those passages in 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles faithfully and gleaned everything I needed to know from the detailing provided therein to substantiate the Spirit’s testimony of Josiah.  I was simply overjoyed, especially for having realized that I myself was quite nearly there! There are scores of such examples, findings really, but I shall not trouble myself to go into them here as most of them crop up in my writings whenever a subject so demands.]

Even when I am not sitting with the scriptures and am bodily occupied in some other work, the Spirit and I would continue to stay in fellowship.  Days when it gets too busy and tiring for me that I have to retire straight to bed, after a fulfilling deep sleep, He would bring me to consciousness and teach about all the things I needed to learn and He would read out the passages so I could look them up when I woke up which more often than not I did promptly.  No question would go unanswered.  New treasures became a regular thing (Matt 13:52).  I am amazed at His Grace – the incredible and wonderful repertoire of His Word.  Ps 139:17, “How precious to me are Your thoughts, O God!  How vast is the sum of them!  Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand.”  And, “Jesus did many other things as well.  If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.” (Jn 21:25).  “To all perfection I see a limit, but Your commands are boundless.” (Ps 119:96).  I know I will need an eternity to revel in all His glory.

The amazing thing is the quantum of knowledge and wisdom He imparts at a time.  It becomes next to impossible for me as a human being to reproduce all that in one take, as I had received them.  This is the reason my articles are rather lengthy even though as a rule I keep it strictly “Word only” and impersonal, and with great fear of God, write it under the Spirit’s supervision only so that I do not even put in an unnecessary word or sentence which would detract or deviate my reader’s attention. The prophecies are the only ones of my writings that are presented as they were given to me, i.e. without breaking them into smaller units.  I remember the first one “The Good News and the Prophecy to the Church” – I received the entire message in three days’ time; but it took me three months to reproduce it in writing.

I like to believe my reader is as committed to Truth as I am.  Therefore, those who complain about its lengthiness, vastness of content, or its unappealing nature which means ‘not titillating in nature’ to cater to their carnal senses as they have been used to… realize too soon that they are in the wrong place.  And, mind, these complainants have mostly been the so-called ‘servants of God’ and ‘the super-righteous’.

My only appeal to them will be that, firstly, Holy Spirit is the Fountain of God’s Word, Who is called the Spring of Living Waters.  It is like a river that flows unceasingly, all the way to eternity.  Will you be able to contain it in a glass or spoon as these false teachers have gotten you accustomed to by their false teachings and wisdom? Secondly, why must you worry about its vastness?  If the willingness is there and you receive the Word of God gladly, it is the PROMISE of Holy Spirit that He will bring them to recall or remind you of them as and when you will need them (refer Jn 14:26). They will not be taken away from you, EVER! (Lk 10:42).  Must you then worry about your weak powers of retention?  Like Ezekiel, be prepared to eat it again and again and again, if need be (Ezek 3:1-3).  And, lastly, let it be known that just as apostle Paul has written “This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.” (1 Cor 2:13), there should be no compromise in the manner of presenting spiritual truths or God’s Word.  [Please note, this in itself is a testimony to the fact that all ‘suspicious teachings’ that have been handed down by way of Paul’s writings are really the evil handiwork of these liars and God-haters in disguise (2 Thess 2:2).  Be warned!]

Likewise, when someone tells me, “Oh yes, I did read but have forgotten all about it now.”, they only betray themselves for what they truly are.  Read Matt 13:4, “As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up.” The birds flew away and so did the seeds!

Dear beloved children of God, there is nothing new in the method of learning I detailed above.  Read Matt 10:26-27, Isa 50:4-5, Amos 3:7, Isa 15:3, Ps 25:14 etc. and understand from the examples of past prophets and servants of God in the Bible.

However, before I give anybody the idea that it is all very simple and that all you have to do is lock yourself up in a room and inquire of the Spirit of God, let me warn you it is not.  Because, this is a holy communion, a holy fellowship between God and you.  And the only way you can progress in it is by instant and complete obedience.  Ezek 3:26 reads, “I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth so that you will be silent…. But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them… Whoever will listen let him listen, and whoever will refuse let him refuse; for they are a rebellious house.” And I began to do the very thing.  Each time He spoke and opened my mouth, I spoke.  And each time I spoke what He had entrusted me to, He entrusted me with some more.  And thus it continues till date.  There is also obedience with regard to one’s spiritual growth: Every time He showed me the Truth, I responded obediently and corrected my ways.  Every time I corrected my ways, He blessed me and showered the wealth of His love on me so that I desired nothing else.

[For eg. When He called me, I answered; when He told me to leave everything and follow Him entirely in faith, that is what I did and began to live a life entirely dependent on Him and His provisions alone; when He told me not to borrow money I vowed I would not and never did after that; whenever He told me to leave a place or an association, I had come to rely on, I did;  He taught me not to turn to man for anything, which meant welfares from the government too, but with patient endurance I was taught to wait on Him; when He told me to go someplace and to someone to teach the Word, I went; when He showed me something I did or used was wrong, which I had not realized until then, I’d not repeat etc. etc. They are just too many to enumerate because it is a one-on-One fellowship and walk with God – every single day brings fresh miracles, instructions, often disciplining too, and the surpassing peace of His presence even in times of deepest agony and terrible oppressions.  Because that is how totally dependent I am on Him.  It was so even when I did not know Him, and now more than ever because I know Him.  Just as the psalmist testifies – “From birth I was cast upon You; from my mother’s womb You have been my God.” (Ps 22:10).  And they are all witnessed by my children who are ever with me so that our life itself has become a school of learning for them. I have and am more than willing to sacrifice anything that comes in the way of His will for me, whatever it may be – money, time, comfort etc., however difficult…!  The list just grows because, like I mentioned, this is a daily fellowship, a daily growth in Christ.  Step by step did I learn to heed and obey.  Most importantly, I was never concerned about what others thought of me or their obvious disapprovals. The only fear that governs me is the fear of God.  By His mercy, the more I grow spiritually the more I learn to fear Him.  I have come to rely on His incredible compassion for me, and as such, I continue in the sustenance of His grace alone.  In matters of ministry, from the beginning I was warned strictly about fund-raising and such other schemes men employ in the pretext of God’s work. He has always maintained that it is His work and He will accomplish it – all He desires of me is obedience, to do exactly what He tells me to do and say.]

As I progressed, He healed me and cured me of all the affections and attachments of this world.  Instead, He fills me with His love, the divine love that only seeks to save souls.  Anyone without the seal of eternity on them grips me with unimaginable sorrow and pain.  If only I could make them listen and understand.  Likewise, I have come to abhor with the strongest loathing possible, the wickedness and godlessness of men – it is not possible for me to look at them as otherwise, but for what they truly are – brute beasts!

Finally, He taught me not to look for results. My only duty is to impart the Word of God faithfully, without fear of man.  It is His work, He will gather His own in His time.  [Again, let me fill you in with the true and divine perspective here:  As Isa 54:1 says, the Church or the Spiritual Bride of Christ, is like a barren woman and has no issue to boast of.  She is the Virgin Daughter of Zion.  But, unseen and unbeknown to the world, she has conceived of the Spirit of God.  And at the appropriate time, she will give birth to the sons of God, which will be soon.  For she has already begun to travail with birth pangs.  And therefore it will be very soon indeed.  Read Isa 66:7-9, ‘“Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a Son.  Who has ever heard of such a thing?  Who has ever seen such things?  Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment?  Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.  Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?” says the Lord.  “Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery?” says your God.’]

Therefore, just as Jesus directs, if you cannot deny yourself and forsake your own thoughts and ways to embrace His high and lofty thoughts, His superior ways, His surpassing righteousness and the majestic  splendor of His awesome holiness, you will not be able to follow Him or abide in Him.  Every step of our walk with Him, we should ensure the ‘Cross’ of our calling is upon us and we faithfully impart that which is entrusted to us without which there can be no progress of growth and spiritual replenishment from Him.  Likewise, there is the inevitable Cup of suffering we are called to partake of with Him – an inevitable and unavoidable heritage of the sons of God while we are in this present world, which guarantees our future partaking of His glory.  We know the present world is in itself “groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.” (Rom 8:22).

To sum it up, let us understand all the Challenges or Costs of  following Christ, which incidentally comes in Cs too:  Conversion + Cross + Cup, are the hallmarks of a Christian. These are Christ’s endowments for you in this world so that you remain in Him, for which explicit purpose itself is His Calling made known to you – to first save you and through you to gather many unto Him.  The moment we falter from this divine insight, we stop growing and before we know it, we become worse than what we once used to be!

Ezek 14:3, “Then the Word of the Lord came to me, “Son of man, these men have set up idols in their hearts and put wicked stumbling blocks before their faces.  Should I let them inquire of Me at all?” Further, the Lord adds, yet if they did not repent and go to their prophets to inquire of Me, “I the Lord will answer him Myself.  I will set My Face against that man and make him an example and a byword. I will cut him off from My people…” (Ezek 14:7-8).

If we fail to see His surpassing holiness and in turn fail to faithfully reveal His holiness to the world, we cannot hope to be called the holy nation of God.  All we end up doing is deceive ourselves and in turn have the blood of those we likewise deceive on our hands.  And then, who may save us from our terrible guilt?  Who may cleanse us of the Blood-guilt of the Son of God which will as a result come upon our heads?

Therefore, may it be with great trepidation and fear of God, that you read these revelations.  You must understand that it is not the knowledge which inspires power or supremacy, but it is that which makes you doubly accountable.  Paramount is the fact that it is that which seeks to save you, restore you, revive you and renew you.  Never lose sight of that.  I praise God for all your efforts and pray that it shall not be in vain.

Introduction:  I wish to present the spiritual history of mankind to create true self-awareness in my readers.  Neither the Jews nor any other race for that matter is an authority on this, except the Spirit of God.  Likewise, no one race could trace the history of mankind in oneself.  The two – the spiritual and the geo-physical history of mankind – are intertwined in the Word of God, and it is there we shall unravel them.

Briefly, the creation of man, followed by their fall, their estrangement from God, rapid increase in sins or disobedience, their estrangement from the knowledge of God, multiplying in their sins until only wickedness was left in them – a brief interlude of the demonstration of His wrath by the Great Flood and so also of His compassion by allowing man to continue to live and multiply; again,  the man’s return to hostility towards God and rise of wickedness and godlessness; followed by the calling of Abraham and Sarah, the making of Israel – a nation chosen and called to know and obey God so that they may reveal the mighty hand of God and teach the world; instead, the ensuing of Israel’s rebelliousness and disobedience; then the First Coming of the Messiah and the forsaking of Himself by His own who were raised and taught to wait for Him; His death and resurrection; the outpouring of the Holy Spirit which threw open the floodgates of Gospel to all mankind; the revived progression of Church with the power from on high as it advanced through iron ramparts and bronze fortresses of nations around the globe; until the present time when only the visible disarray and violations of His Word are all there to be seen once again.  And that is precisely the history of mankind.

Why does man return to his sinful self, whether a Jew or of any other nationality?  The answer is found in the book of Ezekiel.  In the example of the Israelites cited therein.  Read Ezek 16.  Verse 17, “……and you made for yourselves male idols and engaged in prostitution with them.” Yes, the Truth is right there, instead of giving God the glory, they gloried in flesh and honored mere mortals.  Read Jer 2:11-12, ‘“Has a nation ever changed its gods? (Yet they are not gods at all.)  But My people have exchanged their Glory for worthless idols.  Be appalled at this, O heavens, and shudder with great horror.” declares the Lord.’ And Hos 4:7, “The more the priests increased, the more they sinned against Me; they exchanged their Glory for something disgraceful.”

Satan’s intention is to usurp God’s throne in heaven and all the glory that is His due. It is to fulfill this intention that after he had targeted a fraction of the angels, he has been seducing men.  He imparts to them the same pride and arrogance with which he began his rebellion.  So that, like the devil himself, forgetting the Source or the Benefactor-Father Who created them and endowed them so richly they begin to glory in themselves (eg. Ezek 16:14-15).

Israelites:  As in the case of Israelites mentioned above, the Spirit of God testifies that even though to discipline them He had scattered them across the globe, wherever they went they only raised a mound for themselves and made lofty shrines in every public squares (Ezek 16:24).  In other words, they glorified themselves and profaned God’s holy Name by their unfaithfulness before the eyes of the nations.  And therefore, instead of the blessing they were meant to be, they became a byword to all the nations (eg. Ezek 14:8).  Instead of revealing God’s holiness and His just nature to the world, they provoked Him to His face by substituting the knowledge of Him with Patriarchy and Laws of men. They pretended to honor Abraham and Moses, but in truth they were rejecting God and the knowledge of Him revealed to them in His Son Jesus Christ since the very beginning, even before the nation of Israel was born. Oh! How they pride themselves in rejecting Jesus Christ, the Holy One of Israel, the Light of Israel, their God!  In their pride, they even forgot their true ancestry of that of the cursed Amorites and Hittites (Ezek 16:1-3).

As the Word of God testifies of them, they bartered away their blessings and true honor for detestable and worthless things. So that, instead of His Word, they began to honor their laws made ritualistic and complicated by their scribes, all the while going to great lengths to show their idolizing of the male.

And their feasts, instead of upholding what they truly stood for, once again, began to be offensively crowded with empty rituals instead of the Truth – which is that each of them is an integral part of the Gospel, pointers to Jesus Christ the Messiah they were seeking.  Briefly:

  • Sabbathto honor and proclaim the eternal Sabbath rest through Christ,
  • Passover and Unleavened Breadto honor and proclaim the holy sacrifice of the Lamb of God and the resurrection of the holy and only begotten Son of God (the time when Israel worshiped in addition both on the first and the seventh day),
  • Firstfruits to honor Jesus Christ the Firstborn over all creation,
  • the Day of Pentecost to honor and proclaim the victory of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, celebrated in Heaven by the promised outpouring of the Holy Spirit on to the earth,
  • Feast of Trumpets – announcing and honoring the fast approaching God’s war of Retribution and Judgment ,
  • Atonement honoring the perfect atonement possible in the aftermath of Christ’s vicarious death on the cross and, finally,
  • Feast of Tabernacles the announcement of the future inhabitation of Jerusalem or Israel by Christ and His saints for thousand years and thereafter in the eternal kingdom of God.   Hence an eight day long festival with each of the day marked for sacred assembly.  Why Israel or Jerusalem in particular?  Because Jerusalem became the holy altar of God where the Son of God was sacrificed on earth.

Other nations:  The nations in turn followed their evil ways, and instead of seeking the revealed knowledge of the true God of their prophets, prostituted themselves with male idols even more.  Everywhere, man began to be honored, and in every possible manner.  LET US REMEMBER, WHENEVER AND WHEREVER HONOR IS GIVEN TO MAN OR ANYTHING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER, GOD IS DISHONORED AND IDOLATRY EXPOSED!   For eg. read Rev 19:10, “At this I fell at his feet to worship him (the angel of God).  But he said to me, ‘Do not do it!  I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus.  Worship God!  For the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy.’”

The idolizing of men continued through the nations and churches, on their part, simply followed suit:   Everything men do is for others to take notice, that fellow men may honor them.  The Word of God testifies such men receive their reward in full while they are here itself (egs. Matt 6:5, Mk 12:38-40). And as the Church advanced, men all over, gained control of God’s flock and seduced them into honoring them and prostituting themselves with them.  There is not a church visible to man where men are not revered, where the pride of flesh has not superseded submission to the Spirit.  Women are whip-talked into submission on a regular basis while men put themselves on par with Christ.  Note how the book of Hebrews has been desecrated with vulgar appeasement of the Jews in a fervent bid to appeal to their false sense of superiority!!  And note how Song of songs has been granted their hideous canonical recognition.  Note how the Church came to be divided by class system as men gave full sanction to the growing divide between classes by promoting slavery and the likes at the covert behest of such canonical induction as the letter to Philemon!

Note how their teachings on marriage are inculcated from the cradle itself so that children grow up learning to pray and seek for their respective spouses in men.  Oh! For those days when men and women grew up with the knowledge that they were betrothed to God! (Ezek 16:8-13).  Though God’s Word has, since the beginning (Gen 3:16), revealed the true nature and terrible pain associated with ‘sex’ for all women – from its very inception to the rest of their lives, these men beguile women into believing otherwise and conduct pre-marital counseling just so that women are lured into submission and taught that it is both their moral and spiritual obligation to God to please men.  And women on their part would not have it any other way – they wouldn’t change it for the world!  Therefore, God’s Word has decreed since of old, for instance, read Jer 13:18-27, “…. ‘Come down from your thrones, for your glorious crowns will fall from your heads.’………… Lift up your eyes and see those who are coming from the north.  Where is the flock that was entrusted to you, the sheep of which you boasted?  What will you say when the Lord sets over you those you cultivated as your special allies?  WILL NOT PAIN GRIP YOU LIKE THAT OF A WOMAN IN LABOR? And if you ask yourself, ‘Why has this happened to me?’ – it is because of your many sins…. Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard its spots?  Neither can you do good who are accustomed to doing evil.  I will scatter you like chaff driven by the desert wind.  This is your lot, the portion I have decreed for you.” declares the Lord, “because you have forgotten Me and trusted in false gods…..”

Exposing the so-called flock of God:  These men, these ferocious wolves in sheep’s clothing (Matt 7:15), are no more than flimsy white-washed walls in the house of God (Ezek 13:13-16), tombs really (Matt 23:27-28), and they will certainly meet their fate.  As for their women, why do they HIDE THEMSELVES BEHIND THEIR VEILS?  Does not God see them for what they truly are?  Ask Sarah (Gen 18:13-15).

You please men with your veils only to ensnare them (Ezek 13:18-19), and you cover up your evil deeds imagining that your veils are masks that serves to cover up for you!  And you are only too happy to don them when men impose it upon you (for eg. 1 Cor 11:5-6)!

Therefore, your veils which represent the false teachings to the honor of your false pride and the magic charms on your wrists which represent your foolish deeds betraying your unfaithfulness to your God (instead of God’s Word and His righteous decrees that were meant to be your true glory – refer Deut 11:18) will testify against you and bring forth your doom.  “Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:  ……..  I WILL TEAR OFF YOUR VEILS AND SAVE MY PEOPLE FROM YOUR HANDS, AND THEY WILL NO LONGER FALL PREY TO YOUR POWER.  Then you will know that I am the Lord.  Because you disheartened the righteous with your lies, when I had brought them no grief, and because you encourage the wicked not to turn from their evil ways and so save their lives, therefore you will no longer see false visions or practice divinations.  I will save My people from your hands.  And then you will know that I am the Lord.” (Ezek 13:20-23).

Unraveling the significance of Mary Magdalene’s divinely commemorated worship:  At this juncture, let us pause and understand why Jesus honored Mary Magdalene’s worship and has relegated it to divine commemoration alongside the Gospel.  The three aspects of her perfect worship are symbolic and self explanatory:

  • The tears that wet Jesus’ feet:  sign of true repentance – a broken heart and a contrite spirit.
  • The expensive jar of perfume:  the fragrance of His righteousness which replaced her sinful past.
  • and The wiping of His feet with her hair:  the unveiling or the freedom of the Spirit that brought her into His presence in the first place.

That is right, only women who truly enjoy the freedom of the Spirit which frees them from all bondages, especially the bondage of submission to men, would dare to unveil themselves and offer perfect worship to Him, which is only possible in Spirit and Truth.  Therefore, all those who heed God’s Word abide in the Spirit and in the Truth. For, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.  Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” (Gal 5:1)

Before concluding, I would like to answer a few commonly heard questions that are raised in relation to the history of mankind:

1.  Who did Cain fear when he was banished from the land, from the presence of the Lord?

The evil spirits who roamed about freely for they were flung down to earth after their rebellion was discovered.  Matt 12:43-45 is an apt allegory to describe their presence on the earth, almost all of whom now reside in men.

2. Whom did Cain, his sons and for that matter Seth marry when there is no mention of any other women except Eve during that time?

Why do we doubt God’s provisions?  If God could provide Adam a wife without the asking, can He not provide these men their wives?  When we learn to put our trust in God, we not only stop doubting but also start waiting on Him.  The very same thing He tries to teach us – for instance, remember how He instructs Israelites to not to store any manna for the next day?  Truly, who among men is willing to trust God so implicitly, even though one is aware it will be credited to one as righteousness?

3.  Who are the unscrupulous ‘sons of God’ mentioned in Gen 6:2, whose deeds invited the wrath of God?

They are mortal men of early days, when they still remembered their lost glory, that they were called to represent God.  It is not unusual for God to call man, His sons, or as gods,  especially the man as the chosen ones to represent Him.  For eg. Ex 7:1, “Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘See, I have made you like god to Pharaoh…'”.  Similarly, Jn 10:34, “Jesus answered them, ‘Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are gods’?  If He called them ‘gods’ to whom the word of God came…..”

The conviction of Holy Spirit removes all doubts and fears from our hearts. God is a Friend to His faithful servants.  He does not keep secrets from them.  But, sometimes, it is not possible for us to know everything right now, for obvious reasons.  For eg. Jesus has made it very clear that the Day or the Hour of His Second Coming will not be made known.  It is for us to trust Him and heed His warnings instead.  Similarly Rev 10:4 shows us how the angel of the Lord tells John to seal up and not write down what the seven thunders had spoken.  As apostle Paul writes in 1 Cor 13:9-12, “…. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.  Now I know in part, then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.”

Conclusion:   As such, the spiritual history of all mankind may be chartered in the following manner.  We find that no one race is unique.  “Lowborn men are but a breath, the highborn are but a lie; if weighed on a balance, they are nothing; together they are only a breath.”(Ps 62:9).  In fact, by His incredible compassion and unwavering faithfulness, in spite of themselves, Israel and its warring neighbors will rank third in the kingdom of God alongside each other (Isa 19:23-25), for He is faithful to raise a remnant out of them because of  the faithfulness and obedience of a few among them.

If I were to create a flow chart of the spiritual history of mankind, it will have to appear like this:

  • Adam and Eve – Adam falls out, Eve remains.
  • Cain and Abel – Cain falls out, Abel is killed.
  • Cain – banished and estranged to spread to as far as it would take him and his many sons to go and settle.
  • Seth – remains, and for a while hope of mankind is restored and all begin to call on His Name once again.
  • Enoch – remains, but godlessness and wickedness are widespread once again.
  • Noah – remains, but his sons fall out giving rise to many, many, nations including the cursed Canaanites, a group of seven nations whose land was given over to the Israelites according to God’s promise to Abraham.
  • Out of them first Terah is called – he falls out, then,
  • Abraham and Sarah called along with Lot – Lot falls out but Israel the nation of God is born, alongside Ishmael’s nation and the cursed races of Lot’s offspring, Israel’s perpetual enemies and warring brethren.
  • Esau and Jacob – Esau falls out and branches off to add to the number of Israel’s warring brethren; meantime Israel herself falls out and is enslaved in Egypt.
  • Israel – recalled as promised to take possession of Canaan; but falls out once again in Canaan and are sent to exile in Babylon – now split amongst themselves as Judah and Israel.
  • Israel – recalled again in keeping with His promise, but falls out again, rejects her Messiah and is herself ravaged and scattered throughout the earth.
  • Israel – recalled yet again in keeping with His promise, this time united but continuing to reject her God and incurring His wrath.

She will once again be ravaged and plundered, when all nations will unite and wage war with her.  It will be a time in Israel’s history unparalleled ever before in the history of any nation for that matter (eg. Matt 24:15-21, Mk 13:14-19 etc.)  Such will be the times of their distress that at last their eyes will open and they will mourn for the One they pierced.  The remnant will call on Him, and He will be faithful to answer them and rescue them (Matt 23:39, Ps 118:25-26, Zech 12:10-13, Ezek 39:21-29 etc.).

Throughout the rest of the world, all nations that were estranged from God are likewise recalled as the Gospel was made known to each of them even though Israel as God’s nation failed them.  But as it stands today with Israel, so it is with each one of them – all have rejected their Messiah, their God.  The vine of God’s children, including those few of Israel, are uprooted and planted in the desert, in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty land.  What is more?  Fire has spread from one of its main branches and consumed its fruit!  No strong branch is left on it fit for a ruler’s scepter! (Ezek 19:13-14, Rev 12:12-14). While these draw their last breaths, the rest of the world continue to increase in wrongdoing and wickedness.  As for those dogs and sows who have returned to their vomit and to wallow in their filth respectively, they have made Babylon their refuge, their splendor.  So that the awesome Judgment of God which was reserved for Satan and the wicked will first fall upon them, beginning with their priests and their elders.

This is truly how we are now.  So, where is the boasting?  Where is the clamor of victory?  What remains is the hearkening of the heavenly trumpets.  And then it will be too late!  Therefore, all those who have willed themselves to read this, wake up!  This is the last of His unadulterated Word that you will hear.  Soon this will also cease.  Therefore, receive His Word.  Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for He has not found your deeds complete!  Never mind what it may cost you, but buy from Him gold refined in the fire, so you can truly become rich; and white clothes to wear so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see that He still stands outside and knocks.  Receive Him and His eternal fellowship so that He may sup with you and you in turn may sup with Him in His holy abode.  May your soul feed on the richest of His fare so that His eternal Words are bound on your foreheads and the obedience of them by your deeds manifested in your hands – for only then we may hope to relinquish ourselves of the mark of beast on our forehead and on our right hand!

 May God bless you!

God’s Sabbath for man!0

The intervention in God’s creation
In the form of Judgment
Came to be, for Satan
And his band of rebelling angels.
The conclusion in God’s creation
In the form of Sabbath
Came to be, for man –
The Eternal Rest of God and holy angels.
Jesus taught, ‘Sabbath for man;
The honor of Sabbath, the Son of man.’
He who then denies the Sabbath
How so honors the Lord of the Sabbath?
That which the man of old disobeyed,
The nation of God then desecrated
And the peoples of God now discarded
How so be the rest for the rebellious?
His Table in the wilderness calls
The humble to the richest of His fare
Salvation, Spirit of God and Sabbath rest.
How so for one who tarries and sups not?
The freedom of Spirit
Grants wings to the obedient
To soar high into His resting place –
The Sabbath of God for the righteous.
The freedom of man
Clips the wings of disobedient
To tarry at Satan’s table of surplus
For Judgment he’s but, sore pressed.
And Judgment it shall be upon her
Ahead of the wicked, the Enemy –
The bejeweled and unfaithful harlot
Who profanes God’s holy Name on earth.
The Day of the Lord –
Of the Sabbath’s increase on earth
To gather Her who keeps It holy to Him.
Oh man beguiled and branded
Of what beauty, of what worth?
Even now He warns and beckons
To be healed, hallowed and readied.

Greatest Crimes of Babylon – II4

[Forward:  If the following verses quoted from Ps 26:2-8 is your sincere prayer, then you are in the right place.  If not, you are still in the right place for the Spirit who brought you here will guide you to it so that the prayer becomes your eternal inheritance.  And, this is my prayer for you in Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen!

Ps 26:2-8, “Test me, O Lord, and try me, examine my heart and my mind; for Your love is ever before me, and I walk continually in Your truth.  I do not sit with deceitful men, nor do I consort with hypocrites; You abhor the assembly of evildoers and refuse to sit with the wicked; I wash my hands in innocence, and go about Your altar, O Lord, proclaiming aloud Your praise and telling of all Your wonderful deeds.  I love the House where you live, O Lord, the Place where Your glory dwells.”]

It is but imperative that Cain-like corrupt practices in the Worship of God will be the hallmark of Babylon.  This sequel to the Greatest Crimes of Babylon exposes them by teaching the God-ordained practice of Worship.

As Virgin Christians, each one of us ought to leave behind our ignorant and pagan backgrounds to begin anew in the knowledge of God and fellowship of the Holy Spirit.  Whether it was Jewish, Catholic, Protestant, or any other religious or godless background.  The renewal of our minds has to take place in all matters, which includes the true understanding of how to worship the Living God.  God warns us not to continue in our old ways: “You must not worship the Lord your God in their way.” (Deut 12:4).

The fallen and sinful man, we know, was not abandoned by God even though they were estranged from Him.  God’s Word continued to bring them hope, Truth and understanding.  And the divide between one that heeded and one that resisted became apparent in their new surroundings right from the start.  So that, from the time Abel and Cain, the first children of ‘man’ worshiped God, two patterns of worship emerged in this world (Read Gen 4:3-7):

1.   One that is PLEASING TO GOD.

2.   And the other that is DISPLEASING TO GOD.

The outcome is that, Abel, i.e. the one who pleased God was killed by Cain, the one who did not.  And we know, when the time came, even the Son of God Himself was not spared

Why is there this huge difference obvious even between those who seem to take the Name of the Lord?  Jesus reveals the reason as He speaks to the Samaritan woman in Jn 4:22, “You Samaritans worship what you do not know, we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.”  Yes, just as Jesus adds, Jn 4:24,God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship in Spirit and in Truth.”, the most important criterion is to know your God. It is to have actually savored Him (Ps 34:8), so much so that you are in constant fellowship with Him.  Only then one will enjoy the counsel of the Spirit which is Truth and grow in His knowledge and be able to offer Him the perfect worship.

Worship that is displeasing to God and its consequences:

The evil intent of the devil is this:  to deny God the worship and honor due to Him, and he will keep at it till the very end.  It will continue to be manifested in same fashion in order that he may establish his worship.  And so it shall be.  For God will briefly hand complete dominion over to Satan – when men all over the world will unite and follow only the evil pattern.  This will be the Hour of Reckoning for one and all, when the winnowing fork of God will sift the righteous from the wicked whether alive or dead.

For no one can deny God’s amazing faithfulness and grace towards men.  This world stands as a testimony to His mercy and compassion.  Though martyrs after martyrs followed and His prophets and servants were put to death one after the other, God’s Word continued to be heard unhindered until the fullness of His righteousness was revealed to one and all in Jesus Christ, His Son.  Therefore, men on their part are without excuse.

At the appointed time, the wrath of God will finally be revealed.  For the Spirit of God will not strive with the spirit of man forever.  Read Ezek 7:11, “Violence has grown into a rod to punish wickedness; none of the people will be left, none of that crowd – no wealth, nothing of value.”  The superficial lull or the twisted semblance of peace with which the evil one will first manifest himself will be the prelude to total darkness or ‘the midnight’, as it is called to describe his evil reign and worship.  There will remain none who will not be pulled into it.  Only those who truly belong to the Lord will resist and refuse to submit to the evil dominion, and for all their trouble they will be put to sword, taken into captivity or left to starve.

This spiritual ‘midnight’ will only be broken into when Christ shall appear in all His glory with the sound of the heavenly trumpet and wage war – the briefest little war in the history of mankind – and judge the world.  And then, just as Jesus has promised, “………all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah…..” (Matt 23:35; also Rev 6:9-11), i.e. from A to Z – all will be avenged!

The worship that is pleasing to God and its consequences:

I will begin with the consequences first and then move on to the teaching of the worship that is pleasing to God, for it is the chief purpose to which this article is dedicated.

As it is written, for instance, read James 2:13, “Mercy triumphs over judgment”, God will establish His kingdom with the righteous.  Judgment will not be the end.  For the righteous shall rise from their resting places in the fullness of His glory.  They will begin their reign with Him on earth a thousand years and then forever in the eternal kingdom of God.  The new heaven and the new earth will be filled with His glory so that there will no longer be the use of the sun or the moon, and they shall be no more.  All creations, angels and men included, will worship the One True God.  And there will be no more death, tears, pain or sorrow.  The dwelling of God will be with men, and nations will walk in His Light and bring their glory and honor, the majestic splendor of His righteousness to it.

Now, for the perfect and pleasing will of God in the matter of Worship:

“Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness.” Ps 96:9, Ps 29:2, 1 Chron. 16:28-29 etc.  Not the holiness dictated by man or any church, but in His holiness – the surpassing holiness of the Lord!  For eg. Read Matt 5:20.

Having partaken of Truth and Grace through Jesus Christ and having begun to live in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, we are able to understand that the period we live in is spiritually known as the ‘period of Grace’.  Grace is the anointing of His Word.  And it means the abundance of His Word is here.  As such, in the face of the infallible and irrefutable Word of God there is no room left for doubts or difference of opinion or heresies and factions, for that matter, to those who obey Him.

As the Word of God unfolds here, the true pattern of worship becomes clear.  Perhaps not one instant from the past will be able to teach us all we need to know.  But having found the fulfillment in Jesus Christ, we see that each of them concur to work together and render the complete and perfect picture. To begin with, I have divided this lesson into 5 categories owing to the 5 questions that pop up in one’s mind regarding Worship:

  1. Deity or Object of worship
  2. Place of worship
  3. Day of worship
  4. Worshipers or worshiping subjects
  5. Offerings of worship

1.  IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD – the total absence of an idol or an image:

Jesus reveals in Jn 4:24, “God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship in Spirit and in Truth.”  True worship is only possible by our total adherence to the counsel of the Holy Spirit which is God’s Word.  Any other form of worship only goes to betray our divided allegiance to Him.

Read Deut 4:15-19, “You saw no form of any kind the day the Lord spoke to you at Horeb out of the fire.  Therefore watch yourselves carefully, so that you do not become corrupt and make for yourselves an idol, an image of any shape, whether formed like a man or a woman, or like any animal on earth or any bird that flies in the air, or like any creature that moves along the ground or any fish in the waters below and when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars – all the heavenly array – do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the Lord your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.”  It is also known as the first of the Ten Commandments (Ex 20:3-4).  Refer Ex 20:22-24.

Outwardly it may appear as if Cain had got this one right.  But as his disobedience comes to light, the spirit of Anti-Christ at work in him had made itself conspicuous.  He paves the way for idolatry by his unfaithfulness.  Because, idolatry is the fruit of unfaithfulness or ‘adultery’ towards God.

Let us understand that Death reigns over man, and everything that man creates or procreates has the seal of lifelessness and corruption on them.  In sharp contrast, God is the very Source of life – the Resurrection and the Life, and everything God creates or procreates (by the Spirit) has life in them.  A glimpse into heaven (for eg. Ezek 10:9-17) will show us how full of life, insight and surpassing wisdom everything in heaven is – even a wheel! – which is something very commonplace and inanimate in man’s world.  Therefore, do not rely on the dying man and his perishing works – whether they are his many sons, his teachings, his idols or even his fanciful ideals.

2.  IN THE HONOR OF GOD –  by honoring Jesus Christ, the Firstborn or the Firstfruit over all creation:

God begins His lesson on Worship by introducing Himself in the deity of Jesus Christ, the Firstborn over all creation.

Col 1:15, “..He is the firstborn over all creation.”  Also, Jn 1:1-3, Col 1:16.  He is the Alpha, the Beginning, the Ancient of days, and as we now know the scriptures testify about Him from the very beginning.  And, Col 1:18, “…He is the firstborn from among the dead.”  That is right, He is the Resurrection and the Life (Jn 11:25-27), and He is also the Omega, the End (Rev 22:13) because in Him is endlessness.   Again, read Col 1:19-20, “For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross.”

Refer Ex 13:1-2, “The Lord said to Moses, ‘Consecrate to Me every firstborn……. The first offspring of every womb among the Israelites belongs to Me, whether man or animal.” and Ex 34:26, “Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the Lord your God….”

[Note:  The offering of Abel demonstrates his divine insight with which he honored God.  Hence a look into it is appropriate here:  “But Abel brought fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering.” (Gen 4:4)By bringing the fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock, Abel offered the perfect worship by honoring Jesus Christ the Redeemer to come.  Cain, on the other hand dishonored God and displeased Him by showing contempt for His Word.  He just brought, “…. some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord.”  (Gen 4:3).]

3.  IN THE HONOR OF THE LAMB OF GOD WHO WAS SLAIN –  just as it is in heaven (Rev 5):

Also read Jn 1:29b, Jn 3:16 etc.  As God warned Moses, Heaven is the model in matters of worship (eg. Heb 8:5).  But the Israelites failed to grasp it.  So Jesus teaches us to pray that His will be accomplished on earth as it is in heaven (Matt 6:9-10).  The Book of Revelations, chapter 5, gives us a glimpse of the magnificent worship that takes place in heaven.  It is the worship that honors the Lamb of God who was slain, who is worthy to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise from every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them.

God introduced and taught us this eternal Truth, which in truth is the first and only eternal covenant, the covenant of His Blood, when He appointed His first priest – king Melchizedek of Salem.  Read Gen 15:18, “Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine.  He was priest of God Most High.”

Yet, how this divine knowledge came to be obliterated from man’s memory will itself testify against him!  However, praise be to God for His great and incredible faithfulness, which has revealed it to us once again when Jesus Christ reinstated the ‘Lord’s Table – of bread and wine’ symbolically on the eve of His vicarious death on the cross. Read Lk 22:15, “And He said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.”  And just as He adds, to make known that it is also the eternal covenant for we shall eat and drink with Him anew in the kingdom of God –  read Lk 22:16, “For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.”  Also read Matt 26:29, Mk 14:25, Lk 12:37, etc.

Therefore, “Do this in remembrance of Me.” (Lk 22:19b, 1 Cor 11:25b).  Let us not trifle with His commandment. Lord’s Table ought to be the integral part of our worship as it is the perfect honor of Him.  No worship is complete without it.

IN ZION, THE HOLY AND INVISIBLE MOUNTAIN OF GOD – built on the prophesied ‘altar of earth’:

Like the Samaritan woman in Jn 4:19, we lay foolish emphasis on the ‘place of worship’.  Jesus instructs, Jn 4:20-23, “……’Believe Me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem…..a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.”

“Then the Lord said……’….You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven…… Make an altar of earth for Me and sacrifice on it…… where I cause My Name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you.” (Ex 20:22-24).

The term ‘altar of earth’ was symbolic of the holy sacrifice of Jesus that was to take place on the earth and also the prophetic calling of His people, the real temples or churches of God, the living altars of earth offering themselves as living sacrifices – holy and pleasing to God in the perfectly spiritual act of worship (Rom 12:1).  For once again, that which has been made known since ancient time (Isa 46:10), and that which is common to both the Father and the Son (eg. Jn 10:37) and made known to us by the Spirit (Jn 16:13-15) is the eternal truth found fulfillment before our very eyes.

Read 1 Cor 6:19-20, “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.”  This is the fullness of our knowledge as worshipers –  that we are the temples of God. Abel, we know, is the first of the chosen altars of earth.  Refer Matt 18:20, Jesus has said, “For where two or three come together in My Name, there Am I with them.”

And, together, we become the holy and invisible ‘Mountain of God’ along with all else that comprise it.  Every single ‘altar of earth’, for eg. Abel, together constitute the holy Mountain of God.  God Himself is our Sanctuary wherever we may be, scattered across the globe (eg. Ezek 11:16).

Read Heb 12:22-24,  “But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the Living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the Church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven.  You have come to God, the Judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of a New Covenant, and to the sprinkled Blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.”  Also read Psalms 15, Jn 2:19-22, Matt 12:6, Matt 23:16-22.

Therefore, as it is revealed in Rev 6:14, Rev 16:20 etc., every visible hill and high places and mountains will be moved from its place and not be found. So that at Christ’s Second Coming, the now invisible and the unshakable Mountain of God will become visible and remain forever (eg. Rom 8:18-19, Rev 19:14, Matt 13:26-27, Rev 21:10)Read Isa 2:2, “In the last days the Mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.”

ON SABBATH – the blessed and holy Seventh Day of Rest:

Jesus Christ is the Lord of the Sabbath.  Therefore the Day that is blessed and made holy by God for rest and worship is the seventh day, also called the Sabbath.  Please read The First of the Greatest Crimes of Babylon for complete understanding of ‘keeping the Sabbath holy to the Lord.’  It will open one’s eyes to the paganry that exists in every adulterous heart.  Read Ezek 8:16b, “…. With their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, they were bowing down to the sun in the east.”  This has been true of the rebellious leaders of Israelites.  Are the churches any different?

Instead of keeping the Sabbath holy by honoring the Lord of the Sabbath in it – the blessed and appointed Day of the Lord, His people have once again turned their backs to the True and Eternal Light to honor sun which governs the temporal light of this world by appointing the first day holy for their paganry, thus profaning His Holy Name among the people of this world.

How can such a people hope to either enjoy the thousand years of Sabbath rest on this earth or the eternal Sabbath rest in the kingdom of God?

{Note:  Let us remember that in relation to passover was the only time when Israel worshiped on the first day as well as the seventh day (Lev 23:7-8, Num 28:18 & 25 etc.).  Spiritually speaking, First Day here symbolizes the Eighth Day or the First Day after Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross – the Day He rose again after His brief sleep of death or Sabbatical rest.  And it is in honor of which and to proclaim the resurrection of the True Passover Lamb that in relation to the feast of passover the Israelites worshiped in addition on the first day too.  However, we must note that never was Sabbath compromised or replaced.  One is only right to worship on ALL DAYS including the ‘eighth day’ or more specifically in addition the ‘first day’ too (as divined by the feast of tabernacles – eg. Lev 23:33-36, Neh 8:18 WHICH INDEED WAS THE PRACTICE OF THE APOSTLES AND THE BELIEVERS OF THE TIME – eg.Acts 2:46-47),  BUT NEVER at the cost of ignoring, neglecting or replacing the Seventh Day, the Sabbath Day, that which was blessed and made holy by the Lord since the very beginning! (Gen 2:2-3)}

1.  IN THE ONENESS OF GOD – the perfect oneness of the Triune God:

We know that the image of the perfect Oneness of God in ‘man’ was shattered with the fall of the first man.  Spiritual life became individual and personal.  For eg. Eve (Gen 4:1), Abel (Gen 4:3) and Enoch (Gen 5:24).  It did appear in between, after Cain was banished and subsequent birth of Seth,  that men had at large begun to call on the Name of God (Gen 4:26) for a brief period.  But that the oneness required had not been met becomes apparent with the calling of Noah.  Spiritually speaking, I call this the period of Recall.

We see that when God called Noah, He once again taught and established perfect oneness.  Read Gen 6:13-21 and note Vs 18, “But I will establish My covenant with you, and you will enter the ark – you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.”

It is another matter that this oneness did not last long in Noah’s own household.  Even all those who came after him, beginning with Abraham, continued to break the covenant of oneness.  Here’s the sampling of God’s Word on oneness as it was given to Abraham.  Again, spiritually speaking, I like to call this the period of Reawakening.

Read Gen 17:15-22, particularly note vs 21, “But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year.”   When God called Abraham, he was already married to Sarah.  But, unlike Abraham, God only saw them as one (refer Isa 51:2, Gen 2:24).  Therefore, though Sarah was kept in the dark and as a result ignorant of her calling at that time, God makes it very clear to Abraham here that it will be through Sarah that He will bring to fulfillment and establish His covenant.  Of course, seeing that Abraham had only laughed it off and continued to keep Sarah in the dark, God Himself speaks to Sarah to make known her divine election to her.  One would expect the prophesied subjection to slavery of Israel would have restored it.   Sadly no, and we see that man’s heart remains hardened.  So that, once again, God made it understood that freedom from slavery was all inclusive – men, women, young, old, infants and children and that they could not leave Egypt unless all were ready to leave and worship Him together.

God’s Word continued to teach and as Israel’s household multiplied with servants and subsequently slaves too, He made it apparent to them that they were not to be omitted.  For instance, Deut 12:12, “And there rejoice before the Lord your God, you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants……”  Worship is all inclusive and with the oneness of the Spirit.  Refer Jn 17:20-23.

And just as it was promised, Holy Spirit and all the spiritual gifts thereof are received by one and all.  Refer Acts 2:17-21. Yes, there is no gift of God that is exclusive either for men or for women or for any particular race or nation for that matter. Read Gal 3:28, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all One in Christ Jesus.”  Yes, “The King is mighty, He loves justice – You have established equity.” (Ps 99:4a).  And how?  Read Isa 40:3, “….’In the desert prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God.  EVERY VALLEY SHALL BE RAISED UP, EVERY MOUNTAIN AND HILL MADE LOW; THE ROUGH GROUND SHALL BECOME LEVEL, THE RUGGED PLACES A PLAIN.  AND THE GLORY OF THE LORD WILL BE REVEALED AND ALL MANKIND TOGETHER WILL SEE IT.  FOR THE MOUTH OF THE LORD HAS SPOKEN.'”

In fact, for all the foolish pride and rebelliousness of the house of Israel, she will become the least on the Day of the Lord – read Isa 19:23-25, “In that Day there will be a HIGHWAY from Egypt to Assyria.  The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria.  The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together.  In that Day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth.  The Lord Almighty will bless them, saying ‘BLESSED BE EGYPT MY PEOPLE, ASSYRIA MY HANDIWORK, AND ISRAEL MY INHERITANCE.’”  A glimpse into heaven of the spiritual Israel provided in the Book of Revelations, reveals that though multitudes (countless) will return to the Lord from all nations and race, physical Israel or the house of Israel will only have a remnant that will be numbered exactly – 1,44,000, i.e. 12000 from each tribe.  And this too, because of His faithful and eternal promises to His few and faithful servants from the house of Israel.

Finally, Read Eph 4:3-6, “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit….. There is One body and One Spirit – just as you were called to One hope when you were called – One Lord, One faith, One baptism; One God and Father of all…….”

2.  IN THE HOLINESS OF GOD – the awesome splendor and majesty of the righteousness and kingdom of Jesus Christ:

“Come and worship him in the splendor of His holiness.” (Ps 29:2).  Jesus exhorts to “First seek His kingdom and His righteousness” (Matt 6:33), and adds, “For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matt 5:20).

The surpassing righteousness is that which is exemplified by Him. And the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, is likewise faithful to “teach you all things and.. remind you of everything I have said to you.” (Jn 14:26).  Therefore, “Circumcise your hearts..…and do not be stiff-necked any longer.” (Deut 10:16).  Also refer Deut 30:6, Jer 4:3-4, Rom 2:29.

“Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the lord your God. Keep my decrees and follow them.  I am the lord, who makes you holy.” (Lev 20:7-8).  And, I am the Lord your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy.  Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves about on the ground.” (Lev 11:44).  And, “Keep My commands and follow them.  I am the Lord.  Do not profane My holy Name…….” (Lev 22:31-32)

The wayward ‘man’, like Cain, pursues his own imaginations and ideas of righteousness or holiness.  They are never rooted on the Word of God and will come crumbling down like house on sand.  Read Matt 7:26-27, Ezek 13:10-16.

This is that part of worship where each one of us as living stones enjoy individual and active roles.  For, this is that part where we offer ourselves and our individual gifts.  Remember, this is the part where Abel distinguished himself.

Besides renewing our daily fellowship with God (Jn 13:8), known as consecrating of self or Our Spiritual Act of Worship (Rom 12:1), we also offer spiritual (1 Pet 4:8-11) and material gifts (eg. Mk 12:41-44) so that the house of God in our midst does not suffer any lack and all needy are provided for –  God’s servants, strangers, widows, orphans etc.  It is a sign of our sincere gratitude, for it is He who enables (Deut 8:18).

Praising God, singing with the aid of instruments, psalms, ministering the Word etc. are all part of our offerings to Him (Matt 26:30a, Ex 15:1-21, Ps 150, etc).

Whatever the Spirit leads us to do, when we gather together as His household, let us not forget we do them with Christ as our Mediator, the Intercessor and most of all as the Eternal High Priest.

Often one comes across vile men who boast that they are given the keys of the kingdom of heaven and that they have the power to bind or loosen anything at will.  And, those that claim that Jesus called them to make them greater than He is by virtue of the greater things that they do, also belong to this evil tribe of wicked and godless men.  For as it is revealed in Isa 22:22, Rev 3:7, JESUS IS THE KEY!  Read and understand Jn 14:12-14.  Unless one concurs with His will so that He brings it to pass on one’s behalf, one will be exposed beyond redemption!   Therefore, let us understand the true meaning of offering of Spiritual Gifts.

Read 1 Pet 4:8-11, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.  Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.  Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.  If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God.  If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.  To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever.  Amen.”

Likewise, when we offer material gifts, let us do the same in the perfect and pleasing manner of the one approved of God.  Read Mk 12:41-44, “Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury.  Many rich people threw in large amounts.  But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny.  Calling His disciples to Him, Jesus said, ‘I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.  They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything – all she had to live on.”

This is the sign of  growing faith – from that of a tither to that of a 100% giver.  Why would one want to shortchange God who gave us His all?  Does He deserve anything less than our 100% – whether it is in matters of wealth, health, children, devotion, obedience or service?  As members of His household, unless we learn how to obey the First and the Greatest Commandments (eg. Mk 12:29-31), we will be in danger of becoming nearsighted and blind, and as His servants – ineffective and unproductive!  Read 2 Pet 1:5-9.

If you heed His Word and take care not to profane His Holy Name among the peoples of this world, God will heal you, and you will no longer ail spiritually (Isa 29:24).  Read Deut 30:6, “The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love Him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.”  For this has been and will be the first and foremost commandment at all times (eg. Mk 12:30).

Deut 6:4-9, “Hear, O Israel:  The Lord our God, the Lord is One.  Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your souls and with all your strength.  These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.  Impress them on your children.  Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.  Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.  Write them on the doorframes of your houses and your gates.”

May God Bless You!

The First of the Greatest Crimes of Babylon17

The undeniable crimes of Babylon which exposes her wantonness –  her unfaithfulness towards her Husband whom in spite of all her boasting she has rejected makes her cup of foaming adultery overrun.  So that the Spirit testifies her crimes are piled up to heaven (Rev 18:5).  Let us read a few verses in this respect:  1 Tim 5:24, “The sins of some men are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them.” ;  1 Thess 2:15-16, “……They displease God and are hostile to all men in their effort to keep us from speaking to (them) so that they may be saved.  In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit.  The wrath of God has come upon them at last.”  and Isa 9:8, “Surely wickedness burns like a fire; it consumes briers and thorns, it sets the forest thickets ablaze, so that it rolls upward in a column of smoke.”

What is meant by Babylon?  How do we recognize her?

Now, to those who fail to understand the term ‘Babylon’, let it be known that the word finds its origin in Babel which is THE SYMBOL OF MAN’S REBELLION owing to the fact that Babel was man’s first collective attempt at cutting a futile path to heaven on their own merit and for their own glory (Gen 11:4).

It is difficult to recognize it if one is not firmly grounded on the Word of God because the hallmark of Babylon is her unfaithfulness to God and to His infallible Word.  To that end one has to be absolutely and certainly taught by God Himself, perfectly in keeping with His promise regarding Daughter of Zion, His chosen people – Isa 54:13, “All your sons (or children) will be taught by the Lord, and great will be your children’s peace.” and Jn 6:45, “It is written in the prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.'”

Her first of the greatest crimes is the changing of the Sabbath from the Seventh Day to, spiritually speaking, the non-existent Eighth Day.

Why non-existent?  Because it purports to exalt the day after Sabbath, which is spiritually non-existent as ‘eternal’ Sabbath is TIMELESSNESS.

However, before that, let us begin by learning:  What is meant by Sabbath?

Sabbath or the Seventh Day Rest is that ASPECT OF THE GOSPEL which symbolizes and proclaims the CONSUMMATION or the FINAL CONCLUSION of all God’s work to BRING FORTH ETERNAL REST THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, HIS SON – WHO IS THE LORD OF THE SABBATH.

Therefore to keep the Sabbath is to proclaim the eternal Sabbath-rest of God.  For example, just as it is in the case of partaking of the Lord’s Table.  As it states in 1 Cor 11:26, Lk 22:19b etc., to partake of the Lord’s Table is to proclaim the death and resurrection of the Lord.

Every commandment of God is given us to proclaim the Truth –  His divine nature, His eternal powers, His surpassing Righteousness and His kingdom.  Omitting any one of them is no less a crime than omitting a part of the Gospel, the Truth.

Such mercenaries who dare to call themselves missionaries ARE EXPOSED by the fact that they pretend to cut a path which has no destination.  For, THE GOSPEL WITHOUT THE SABBATH IS LIKE THE GODLY WITHOUT THE ETERNITY!  And yet, this is what the churches at large are guilty of propagating.

Let us move on to understand the introduction of Time:-

Time came to be introduced by the fifth verse, i.e. in Gen 1:5.  Before that, was the timelessness with God, Gen 1:1, In the beginning God…” followed by the first creations, “the heavens and the earth”.  Next, though the heavens are not described, Gen 1:2 begins to describe the earth with words such as, “formless and empty” and goes on to introduce the presence of “darkness” and “the deep”.  It concludes by stating that God, Who is Spirit, hovered over them.

Such words reveal the obvious shift in the spiritual equilibrium that came about then.  It leads us to address the question: What happened between the first and the second verse, i.e. after the heavens and the earth were created?  (Clearly the state of earth as described above is very different from the state of heavens.  Hence the elaboration.)

Our answers lie in the introduction of “darkness” and “the deep” which as we know were created by God to throw Satan, who is Lucifer, the fallen angel (eg. Lk 10:18, Ezek 28:12-19), and his band of rebelling angels into (eg. 2 Pet 2:4, Rev  9:14-15 etc.).  It leads us to the revelation that the rebellion of Satan took place in the period between the first and the second verse.  Thus, while some of them are imprisoned there (eg. Rev 9:15) to serve God’s purpose at the appointed time, Satan and the rest moved around freely between darkness, the deep and the earth which was, as we know, a barren piece of land then.

[PLEASE NOTE: It may not be necessary that I mention it here, but allow me to furnish that Satan had retained his old seat in heaven for some time which he continued to frequent at will until at last he had lost it too (eg. Job 1:6-7, Rev 12:8)].

After this brief but catastrophic interlude commences the next stage of creation – Gen 1:3-4:  Thus, to begin with, “light” was introduced to counter darkness, followed by TIME which began as the “first day” (Gen 1:5).

Understand that this next stage of creation which commences symbolically on the “first day” and concludes on the “sixth day” is THE SETTING IN MOTION OF GOD’S WORK OF REDEMPTION IN SIX STAGES until once again ‘Timelessness” and ‘Rest’ is restored, symbolized by the “seventh day of rest”, the SEVENTH STAGE.

Read Gen 2:2-3, “By the seventh day God had FINISHED the work He had been doing; so on the “seventh day” He rested from all His work.  AND GOD BLESSED THE SEVENTH DAY AND MADE IT HOLY, BECAUSE ON IT HE RESTED FROM ALL THE WORK OF CREATING THAT HE HAD DONE.”

Thus ‘time’ was created to set and foretell a prescribed period until He creates all things anew (refer Rev 21:1-5) after which there shall NO MORE be “darkness”, “the deep”, “the Hades”, which we now know lies beneath it, as also “the sun” and “the moon” (Gen 1:14-18) which was created to govern the day and night respectively to mark “time” and “seasons” of this temporal world.

Following is a quick and easy appraisal to showcase this pattern in all God’s work from Creation to Redemption to His glorious Reign on earth and finally to Regeneration :

  • Recall or the calling of Noah
  • Re-awakening or the calling of Abraham
  • Revelations in Word or the laws and the prophets
  • Revelation in Flesh or the First Coming of the Lord
  • Revelation of the Way by His perfect Righteousness most perfectly exemplified by Him and Him Alone
  • Ransom paid or the Holy Sacrifice or the work of redemption accomplished on the cross
  • Rest – which typically concurred on the Sabbath, the “blessed and holy seventh day

  • Resurrection
  • Reappearances
  • Return to Heaven  or the ascension and glorification
  • Revelation in the fullness of His eternal glory or His Second Coming
  • Resurrection and regeneration of the righteous
  • Retribution of the Lord or the fulfillment of  the first part of the two-fold retribution of God
  • Reign of the King of kings which is the holy and Sabbatical rest of thousand years on the earth.

  • Recall of the enemy or release of Satan
  • Reinforcement of his troops
  • Retribution and end of the enemy or the fulfillment of the latter part of the two-fold retribution of God
  • Resurrection and Judgment of the wicked
  • Regeneration of the heaven and the earth or the restoration of the spiritual equilibrium
  • Return to Heaven with His people or the Glorious Homecoming
  • Reign of God – the anointing of the Most Holy or the Coming of the Eternal Kingdom of God in the fullness of His Triune Glory and Holiness which is known as the eternal Sabbath-rest of God.

PLEASE NOTE that I have drawn the above pattern based on the revealed Sabbatical rests of the Lord.  Also note, how the increase in Sabbath period from a day to a year, as it was given to the Israelites (refer Ex 23:12, 10, Lev 25:3-4 etc.), is symbolic of Sabbath’s increase from a day to thousand years and finally to eternity in the perfect Sabbath plan of God.

This is why Dan 9:24-27 reveals in terms of “…..seventy ‘sevens’ ………..from the time of the ‘issuing of the Decree (or Word)…..”.  For eg., read Dan 9:24, “Seventy ‘sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy.”

(As to the particular ‘seven’ or ‘sevens’ we are currently in is revealed in the article ‘The End Time Revelations’ made available in this website – a must read!)

This is also the reason why Jesus states, “My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I, too, am working.” (Jn 5:17).  He has in fact just re-instated what was revealed all along – remember, Ps 121:4, “Indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”

In short, God’s work doesn’t stop until the eternal Sabbath-rest is attained.  And this is what every observance of Sabbath proclaims.

No sooner had God announced the “seventh day of rest” or the “Sabbath”, than we see it obliterated from man’s world for centuries, perhaps millennia, until God had set apart a nation for Himself to teach His holy ways to all mankind and reinstate the Holy Sabbath.

To that effect, He very symbolically sent ‘manna’ and ‘meat’ from the sky and fed the Israelites (Ex 16), literally leading them with chords of human kindness (Hos 11:4), to teach them to fully return to God and to keep the Sabbath that is holy unto the Lord, Who is to be the ‘True and Heavenly Manna’ to be sent from God (Jn 6:32, Jn 6:57-58).

Read Ex 16:23, “..This is what the Lord commanded: ‘Tomorrow is to be a day of rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord…’ ” And, read Ex 20:8-11, “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.  Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is A SABBATH TO THE LORD YOUR GOD.  On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates.  For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, but He rested on the seventh day.  Therefore the Lord BLESSED THE SABBATH DAY and made it holy.”

Yet, how Satan has once again connived to deceive the nations into ignoring and disobeying His eternal covenants, just as he did in Eden, becomes clearly evident to us now.  By employing men who, unbeknown to the gullible, in the spirit of Anti Christ further his evil agenda to plant his seeds of lies AND CHANGE THE SET TIMES AND LAWS.  Read Matt 13:38b-39a, “The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil.”

Thus, just as it was prophesied of them in Dan 7:25, “He will speak against the Most High and oppress His saints and TRY TO change the set times and the laws…”, anti Christs and false prophets followed one after another to fulfill that which was forewarned of them.   As a result Sabbath and all other holy laws of God came to be first desecrated by His own people who at heart continued in their idolatry.

Just as it was with the first man who was exposed by his act of disobedience (Gen 3:17), his descendants, Israelite or non-Israelite, likewise follow suit and lay bare their unfaithfulness, their adultery, for all to see!

[PLEASE NOTE: It is the very first man, who began his unfaithfulness by first changing the God-ordained name ‘Adam’ or ‘Man’ given also to the female (Gen 1:26, Gen 5:2) and calling her ‘woman’ FOR HIS OWN GLORY (Gen 2: 23), who sets the sinful precedence of idolatry for all men to follow.

When God told the male that he may eat of any fruit except for ‘the one’, or permitted him to name all the beasts and birds except for ‘the female’ or to do work on all six days except on ‘Sabbath’, the male had gone on not only to disobey God but also to desecrate all that was set apart and sacred to God, thus breaking the great trust (Gen 2:19b) that was bestowed upon him and terminating the holy Covenant of God made with him forever! (Hos 6:7).

Down the line, the Israelites themselves distorted the commandment so that though outwardly they showed diligence in keeping the Sabbath, they failed to keep it holy to the Lord (eg. Matt 12:11-12) and honor Him who is ‘Lord of the Sabbath’ – the Heavenly Manna sent from God.

As for the churches, who followed after them, who were called to belong to the ‘spiritual Israel’, the “seventh day” came to be substituted by the non-existent “eighth day”, or rather in reality, the “first day” so that their idolatrous hearts, instead of honoring the Lord of the Sabbath, honor the temporal light of this world which is governed by “the sun” and the worship of it by setting apart “Sunday” for the same.

[PLEASE NOTE:  It is immaterial at whose door one lays the blame or to which particular anti Christ one may want to credit the same, the fact is that in the matter of Sabbath-disobedience, with the exception of one known church (the name is unimportant as I am not an advocate of any church of this world), all follow in the same path of the evil dictum and therefore become equally guilty.

Sabbath is not a doctrine peculiar to any particular church.  It is the very commandment of God!

The Spirit testifies, “Like Adam, they have broken the covenant – they were unfaithful to Me there.” (Hos 6:7), “Your first father sinned; your spokesmen rebelled against Me.” (Isa 43:27), “….they and their fathers have been in revolt against Me to this very day.” (Ezek 2:3);  “Like their fathers they were disloyal and faithless; as unreliable as a faulty bow.” (Ps 78:57);  ” ‘Ever since the time of your forefathers you have turned away from My decrees and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty.” (Mal 3:7) etc.]

Oh, yes!  Honoring the “sun” the creation and not “the Son” the Creator (Jn 1:1-3) has been the way of the idolatrous since time immemorial.  The difference is only between the most-obvious and the most-subtle.

For eg., note how the Israelites were themselves guilty of it.  Read Ezek 8:16b,  “… With their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, they were bowing down to the sun in the east.”

Therefore, as it continues to reveal in Dan 7:25, He will purge them of their sins, and how?  Read Dan 7:25 which continues, “…. The saints will be handed over to him (the ultimate or the most ruthless and final of all anti Christs) for a time, times and half a time.”

Read Mk 2:27-28, “Then He said to them, ‘The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.  So the Son of man IS LORD EVEN OF THE SABBATH.”

Just as it was since the beginning.  Jesus Christ reinstates and fulfills that which was stated by the Father all along.  For eg., Ex 16:29, “Bear in mind that the Lord has given you Sabbath….”

Therefore, understand that Sabbath is a sacred gift of God to man, a gift which he forfeits if he is foolish enough to reject.  For it is the same with all gifts of God, for example, the gift of priesthood!

(Read how the Levites earned it once, Num 18:7, “…. I am giving you the service of the priesthood as a gift.” only to forfeit it in the end due to their unfaithfulness, so that only a minuscule remnant among them retained it through Zadok who had found favor with God – Ezek 40:46, Ezek 44:15 and 48:11-12.)

As such, bear in mind that Sabbath was not made in man’s honor for him to do what he pleases with it.  Rather, as Jesus reveals, Sabbath was made in His honor Who Alone bears the title ‘the Lord of the Sabbath’.

Think for yourself:  What could be more vile than dishonoring the very Source of Light, who is the Eternal Light, to honor the temporal light of this world which is waiting to perish with this world anyway?!!!

Read Rev 21:23-25, which describes the ‘Eternal City of God’ in the New Earth and the New Heaven, “The City does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it Light, and the Lamb is its Lamp.  The nations will walk by its Light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it.  On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there.”

Oh, yes!  Just as the psalmist testifies in Ps 84:11, “For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.”

Therefore let us understand that it is the idolatry of their hearts, their unfaithfulness, which led the so-called church leaders in the spirit of the anti-Christ to dilute the Word of God and change that which was established since the very beginning.  For in reality changing of the Sabbath from the seventh day to the non-existent eighth day or the first day, in effect, is the honoring of the sun which governs it (Gen 1:16).  As it was with the Israelites, all their pretenses fall apart as they are exposed by their dishonoring of the Lord of the Sabbath in their total desecration of the Sabbath!

Trying to seek justification for their action by pretending to honor the resurrection of the Lord or the day of His resurrection DOES NOT free them of the damnable guilt of having changed the God-ordained times and laws.  It is a pity that some have even dared to call Sunday, the Sabbath, and delude themselves into believing that indeed they do not fail in observing it!!

As regards His resurrection which took place symbolically on the first day of the next week, following His Sabbath rest to mark the conclusion of His work that was finished on the cross the previous day to the Sabbath (Jn 19:30, “When He had received the drink, Jesus said, ‘It is finished.’  With that, He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.”), MARKS not its continuation but the beginning of the next stage of His work.

And what better way to start it than in His very Person to reveal that He is indeed the True and Eternal Light, the true Sun (Ps 84:11 )- both of this world and of the next, of this generation and of the next, i.e. the generation of the regenerated:  the fulfillment of the infallible Word of God “The True Light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.” (Jn 1:9).

Think about it, reason with yourself and understand if Sabbath is not the Day of the Lord, then what is?  And when Zechariah speaks of ‘a Day of the Lord’ (Zech 14:1) to reveal the Day of the Second Coming of the Lord, doesn’t it become clear that by dishonoring the Sabbath and going about in it in your own way you deny yourself the very fulfillment of that which you otherwise earnestly hope and aspire for? Refer Isa 58:13-14.

Repent and keep the Sabbath holy!  As the psalmist writes, Ps 95:8, “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts…”

(Since this is a sequel to the article titled “Prophetic warning to the churches” let me believe that at least some have taken the bold step of faith and left Babylon behind.)   Therefore, to all those who have separated and come out of Babylon, I exhort you to honor God’s eternal covenants and keep His Sabbaths, to begin with.

Read Isa 56:1-8, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Maintain justice and do what is right, for My salvation is close at hand and My righteousness will soon be revealed.  Blessed is the man who does this, the man who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps His hand from doing any evil.’  Let no foreigner who has bound himself to the Lord say, ‘The Lord will surely exclude me from His people.’  And let not any eunuch complain, ‘I am only a dry tree.’  For this is what the Lord says:  ‘To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, who choose what pleases Me and hold fast to My covenant – to them I will give within My temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off.   And foreigners who bind themselves to the Lord to serve Him, to love the Name of the Lord, and to worship Him, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to My covenant – these I will bring to My holy mountain and give them joy in my House of Prayer.  Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house will be called a House of Prayer for all nations.”  The Sovereign Lord declares – he who gathers the exiles of Israel:  I will gather still others to them besides those already gathered.”

Keep it holy by not going your own ways, Isa 58:13-14, ‘“If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on My holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord’s holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words, then you will find your joy in the Lord, and I will cause you to ride on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.” The mouth of the Lord has spoken.’

  • By sending forth His Words of deliverance, redemption and healing on the Sabbath (eg. Matt 12:13, Lk 13:12-13, Lk 13:15-16 etc.)
  • By calling together the House of Prayer wherever you are (eg. Lev 23:3, “There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, a day of sacred assembly……. it is a Sabbath to the Lord.”;  Deut 16:8 – “…on the seventh day hold an assembly to the Lord your God and do no work.”) and however few in number.  Refer Matt 18:20, “For where two or three come together in My Name, there Am I with them.”
  • By honoring Him with a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of lips that confess His Name (Heb 13:15).  And with joy and gladness remembering to lift the cup of salvation (Ps 116:13) and proclaim His death – the breaking of the Heavenly Manna, by the breaking and partaking of bread and drink of the vine (Lk 22:17-20) just as He demonstrated and commanded us to; reminding us in all His divine earnestness and zeal how He longs and waits to partake of the same with us again at the fulfillment of all His work, i.e. at the Coming of the Eternal Sabbath, the Kingdom of God (Matt 26:29, Mk 14:25, Lk 22:18).
  • Schedule the Sabbath just as God did each day, for eg. Gen 1:5b, “And there was evening, and there was morning – the first day.”  – i.e. from Friday evening until the cycle of a day is completed the next day.  Read Mk 15:42-43, “It was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath).  So as evening approached, Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of Council, who was himself waiting for the Kingdom of God, went boldly to Pilate and asked for Jesus’ body.”; Jn 19:42, “Because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.” and Lk 23:55-56, “The women who had come with Jesus from Galilee followed Joseph and saw the tomb and how His body was laid in it.   Then they went home and prepared spices and perfumes.  But they rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment.”
  • Sup and enjoy His fellowship together with joyful, sincere and grateful hearts.  Refer Deut 16:14, “Be joyful at your Feast – you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants,…(all those who serve amongst you), the aliens, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns.”
  • This leads us to address the following question:

Is it wrong to break bread or, as the hungry disciples did, to pick some heads of grain from the grainfields to eat, on a Sabbath?

Jesus answers the same once and for all in His response to the pharisees or false teachers of this world who, though lacking in spiritual insight seek to appear holier than the rest, go about making much to-do about nothing.  Read Matt 12:7, “If you had known what these words mean, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.”.  And as He elaborates, read Matt 12:1-8 fully, excerpts from which teaches“..for One greater… is here….. the Son of Man (who) is the Lord of the Sabbath.”.

And indeed we find the disciples on their part have set the better example.  For eg., read Acts 2:42, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” and  Acts 2:46, “… They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.”

Only, take heed to follow by the Lord’s example (eg. Matt 15:36), TO ALWAYS honor and thank the Father who sustains our souls both in body and in spirit at all times – by granting us both the earthly manna and the Heavenly Manna.  Refer Rom 14:17, “For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit.

For what does our earthly feasting amount to if we fail to remember and honor (possible only by obeying His laws of surpassing righteousness – Matt 5:20) the Heavenly Manna He is faithful to break for us each day – Sabbath or not?  But then the question arises, how many of us are in the habit of supping from His Table every single day?  Let this be an exhortation and a fervent prodding!

Finally, let it be known that the Word of God stands united on the fact that the Coming of the Lord is on “a Day of the Lord” (eg. Zech 14:1) which means on a Sabbath or on a Seventh Day.  And indeed when He appears on a Sabbath, where will you be found?  Would you be found keeping it holy unto Him?  If not, how would you offer yourself holy unto Him on His Day?  For the Word of God has decreed that only those that are holy to the Lord will be received unto Him and will receive the Seal or the Inscription of the Lord, that will be visible to all from then on, which will read “HOLY TO THE LORD” (Zech 14:20).

(In relation to Zech 14:20, refer to Ezek 11 for fuller understanding.)

Also, though at first glance it may seem that the purpose of the detractors is served in Matt 24:20, “Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.”, understand that it does not in any way rule out the possibility!  If anything, it only alerts one to the possibility.

In fact, or rather in other words, it just goes on to expose the lies – (more of) the additions and the deletions made to the Word of God by scheming men.   Therefore, be warned!!

 May God bless you!

Spiritual Reflections

Love is constant as God is
Because true love comes from God.
Spread the Gospel of God’s Love
For Love denied is life lost!
A true Christian is a true Convert.
     How can one deny God
        Is beyond reckoning
        One is so dependent
Its one’s very life one denies!
And to deny the Trinity of God
Is like denying one’s own self
        The triune identity of oneself
One partakes of with one’s Maker!
   Those that seek God’s will
Should first in themselves obedience instill.
The greatest of all human tragedies is hopelessness
As long as one has hope one will triumph through perseverance.
     All virtues come from God
So learn them only at His feet.
Only Truth can survive in a bed of lies
Lies – they first multiply and then degenerate.
External beauty is skin deep –
It begins and ends with flawlessness.
Internal beauty is soul deep –
It begins and ends with an unblemished conscience.
(Therefore, be ye perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect.)
   When we judge we forget
           On ourselves we invite judgment!
(Judge as in discern is the Spiritual way and not judge as in passing/executing judgment.)
Unbeknown to many, in God’s vocabulary, words such as
Man, elder, priest, virgin, apostle, angel, prophet, servant, son etc.,
          They are not gender-biased.
And unbeknown to many, in God’s wardrobe
There is only one suitable garb for all
          The Robe of Righteousness
          Which again is not gender-biased.
     The wicked invent new ways
To multiply God’s wrath upon themselves
But the foolish, in the  same old method,
By taking God’s Holy Name in vain.
People by nature seek anything but Truth:
          For the sensual, the sensuous;
          For the intellectual, the profound;
          For the philosophical, the complexity of words;
          For the religious, the supernatural;
And for the base, the human excesses.
Only they that are Spirit-led seek Truth
And are satisfied  just as was promised.
   Lies attract but delude
         Flattery appeals but corrupts
         Sin tempts but enslaves and
         Death lures but destroys.
God is a Friend to all who serve Him faithfully
For He opens His heart and reveals His deepest secrets to them.
The abandoned egg of an ostrich
Does not see the saving Hand of God
Until it springs to life and
Thrives on the very sands of its neglect.
    Bonding in the family
          Ought to be like scaffolding
          It should not only support
          But also let grow.
The trusting are like little children
Who give one a glimpse of heaven.
To mar or destroy the trusting is
To mar or destroy heaven on earth.
(Matt 18:3-4 & 7)
     Rejection is a prowler
Who if invades you in the safety of your home
Will find you at every turn and corner
All the way to your tomb.
There is nothing poetic or beauteous
            Nothing spiritual or splendorous
In a woman contemptuous and bereft
           Of all things virtuous.
It would have been easier for me
           To denounce God
But for His angels in all shapes
Attending to my needs and scrapes.
   In Christ
          One is transformed from
          Believers in God to
          Be ‘livers’ in God.
     The greatest blasphemy is
           Calling Christianity a religion.
           Religion is man seeking God
           Christianity is God seeking man.
What better way is man exposed
Than when he pretends to find God
And not turn to Him who Alone
May show Him the Way to His abode!
Do not desire the pinnacles of this world
          Which are nothing
          But sacrilegious mounts of Satan.
          Once there
You’ll be on your own with the devil
          Ready to fling you down.
          The higher the pinnacle
          The greater the fall!
    There’s growth in Christianity
           Seldom attained
           Though the water-mark is preset
And all aid to be had on board.
What can this world want of me?
For I boast no success story.
Mine is an epic of survival
           Beset in its tragedies.
Yet I seek to leave behind
           A legacy
           Worth its weight in gold
           Refined and made pure
           In the Goldsmith’s fire!
     I have heard
           Being poor is an Attitude
           Little wonder then
Being rich has is my Fortitude.
           (Rev 2:9a)
     Man’s world
             Is the woman’s WOE.
     Man is ever shadowed
            By the ‘accuser’
           Every thought, word and deed
           Comes back
           In interpretations varied
           To be judged and
           To be accounted for!
           He is a diligent pursuer
           The enemy
           More diligent than any
           Christian could be.
           He’d pursue them
Even in Heaven if he could
           And demand their expulsion
If it weren’t for God’s faithfulness
Made known through Christ and his angels!
     In Christ
     One is secure
            Beyond the reach of all
         For this is how
            He liberates one’s soul.
We will not understand True Love
            Unless by His Love
Our obstinate but merry hearts of stone
            Are transformed into
The obedient and grieving hearts of flesh.
The most misused words in the world
              Are God and Love.
              Both most Holy.
              So let us beware!
              For misusing the former
              Is blasphemy
And the latter, a great folly.
      All about me
             I find people playing gods
Judging and teaching me painful lessons.
            Wiping away my smiles
            Overlaying my stooping back
And daring me to raise my head
            While they teach me
             In addition, humility!
     Confront death everyday
           For it is everywhere.
           Be at peace with it
Lest it takes you by surprise.
(Ps 90:12)
      Humility is not
Exalting oneself in pretenses of humble clothing
           And soft and sweet mumblings.
           Humility is
Looking up to God and God alone.
The more one finds Him exalted,
The more one finds oneself lowly and humbled.
(Zeph 3:12-13)
To be born as I am
Into a family as I have
            It is a challenge
            Both to survival and womanhood!
      There’s no parallel or equal
No scale on which you may balance
The wickedness that stems from one’s own.
     There are gods and goddesses,
Just as there is one true God.
The former are those who hold you in a sway,
God is the One who shows you The Way.
A foolish woman is a disgrace to her generation and to the generation to come!
      Salvation is:
The beast in man transforming to be the best in man.
     Serving God and serving man
           Are two different things.
           A Christian ought not to
           Confuse betwixt the two.
For only he that serves God
           Truly serves man
And it is never the other way round.
If one is not firm on God’s Word
One cannot hope to be firm with the devil.
     Spiritual life in this world
           Borders not on wants
           But on needs.
     The trinity of fallen man
For those who do not understand is this
Body – the now visible self with a name
Soul – the invisible self with the blame
And spirit of life – as temporal as a game.
           Man, O man, how contrary!
           So in disharmony
           With self as with God!
How long will you reject His Hand,
Deny yourself the perfection He has planned?
     The intervention in God’s creation
           In the form of Judgment
           Came to be for Satan
And his band of rebelling angels.
           The conclusion in God’s creation
           In the form of Sabbath
Came to be for man –
The Rest of God, His redeemed and His angels.
The Christian world is what it is today
Because it has less of sheep
But more of wolves in sheep’s clothing.
The only hope for the surviving sheep
Is to get out while they can
And avoid the fate that awaits the wolves
For which they are being rounded up as one.
    You are not even man
If you have rejected your God.
But merely a beast-
The two-legged and hair-crowned sod.
The hypocrisy of men is notoriously obvious
            In their “pro-virginity” stand
For though it is within their power to honor it
Themselves dishonor – come marriage! come rape!
As if it is not enough to expose them
They take their pretensions one step further –
            In God’s Holy Name
            To punish the women
For crimes only they can commit!
All that glitters is not gold
Likewise, all ‘virtues’ not of God.
The ‘Virginity of the Soul’ is not the same as
           The ‘Virginity of the Flesh’.
           Neither is it gender-biased.
While the latter is destroyed by man
The stigma no more permanent than the flesh
The former is sealed by God
Its glory as permanent as the souls of men and women.
          Man is so arrogant!
           He will dare to equal
           with the Son of God
           but will not let equal
           his fellow-man.
One has not begun  to pronounce the infallible Gospel
If one has not begun to denounce the fallible man.
      The Son is the Heir
            Not because of flesh
            But because of His Word.
One who does not have His Word
            Does not have the ‘sonship’;
And one who does not retain His Word
Cannot hope to retain the ‘sonship’.
Come of age, did you say?
Think again and be very very certain.
              For you are
              What you consciously become.
Not for want of choice or knowledge
              Or misguided by ill-advice or
              Pushed around by your circumstance.
But having overcome your belying background
And furnished yourself with all the choices
You consciously decide and account for all your actions.
      Women and Marriage
              To some, marriage is
             A RUDE AWAKENING
             And to others, it is
             A charmingly engraved tombstone.
     The Gospel without the Sabbath
is like the ‘godly’ without the eternity.
The runaways of God run swift and bold
Away from strangers of stranger tongue
Away from every tightening hold
Till in Master’s Voice its rest is won.

Truth is not what one is born into
But, Truth is what one seeks
Of one’s volition and with one’s whole being
From the Only One Who is the Source of It.
Atheism is nothing but Godlessness
Named differently
To lure men and women
Away from their God.
Religions are man’s VIOLATIONS of the Truth.
Every VIOLATION makes known its Religion
By characteristic manifestations unique to itself.
For, while the Way of The Truth is Invincible and One,
The ways of man are self-destructive and too many
That make known his brash Godlessness
Unleashed everywhere by his wicked dominion.
Paganism:  ATHEISM (APEISM) crowned with RITUALISM!
Truth has no religion,
It is Universal and Unchanging.
The Infallible Words
and the Irrefutable Deeds of God
Bear testament to the Indomitable Truth
Of His Invincible Existence.
The Godly are not born
They are Born Again
By God’s Holy and Eternal
Spirit, Word and Blood.
Religion is manifestation
Of rebellious legions of evil spirits in man
Seeking nothing but the UNMERITED glory and
UNHOLY service of his UNWORTHY self –
All in the holy Name of God!!!
It is one thing to claim to know God;
And quite another to be
Known by God –
The sifting Hand of God
That separates the liars
From those His very own.

Prophetic warning to the churches0

[Forward:  Christian Conversion is not ‘religious conversion’ even though churches are in the habit of parading it as such.  For eg., here is a Hindu convert, here is a Muslim convert and so on and so forth!  Christian Conversion is the conversion of a sinner in to the righteousness of God revealed to the whole world in Jesus Christ, His Son.  It is the Path of godliness leading to the perfection of God so that one may partake of His eternal glory and dwell with Him.  As such, a True Convert is unidentifiable, as sons of God will be revealed only at the consummation of their salvation which is by the redemption of their bodies at the glorious Coming of the Lord.  Churches glory in the flesh, and therefore they have all, without exception, misinterpreted and distorted the Word of God, with wanton abandon and blatant disregard to the Truth that God’s Word is INFALLIBLE and IRREFUTABLE.  They are not a spiritual household.  Therefore, they cannot and WILL NOT discern Truth!  For instance, the Spiritual meaning of the word “son” is heir – irrespective of the gender, the word “virgin” is new-born, the word “brother” is fellow child of God etc.  Who has truly understood the lofty thoughts and ways of God?  Who has truly heeded His Word?  None!  A ‘spirit of prostitution’ leads them all astray in to the hands of the ‘spirit of stupor’ who robs them off their sight and hearing so that they can neither see nor hear!  And none understands.  But, as faithful watchman of His flock, I cannot but declare His uncompromising Word even though they remain an obstinate and rebellious lot! ]

Why do Christians court Islam, which is a religion created by the spirit of the Anti-Christ (for eg. read 1 Jn 4:3) to oppose Christianity?

Let it be made perfectly clear that Christianity is not a religion.  Religion is man seeking God whereas Christianity is God seeking man.  Why does God seek man?  Because He wishes to save him as He knows man cannot save himself.  Unfortunately, man does not realize it, and therefore he pursues religion thinking that it will save him.  How can man save himself or another when he himself is governed by sin, curses and above all, Death!  Christianity is realizing that God has made the Way.  It is realizing that one is a sinner, and that therefore one is utterly helpless to save oneself.  Christianity is coming to the divine knowledge that only One who is conceived of the Spirit of God, and not of the cursed and death-ridden seed of man, is able to save, to redeem and to ransom man from the clutches of sin, death, curse and the law which is simply this: ‘The wages of sin is Death.’ and which is undeniably witnessed and experienced by one and all.

No man is born a Christian.  To be a Christian, one has to be born again.  Yes, even one who is born to a Christian couple.  Because all men are born of the flesh, and flesh gives birth to flesh only.  To be born again is to be born of the Spirit and of the Word of God, which transforms a person totally by the renewal of his mind, and the person begins to live the new life in the Spirit.  Therefore, a True Christian is also a True Convert.  THUS CHRISTIAN CONVERSION IS THE CONVERSION OF A SINFUL MAN OF FLESH INTO THE GODLY MAN OF THE SPIRIT.  Let us understand, God does not see a man as a Hindu, a Muslim, a Catholic, a Protestant, a Buddhist, an Atheist or whatever are the very many labels man wishes to tag himself with.  In God’s holy eyes, all are sinners.

Thus, to become a Christian is to become righteous by GROWING in the perfect holiness of God revealed to the whole world in His One and Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, the Messiah, who offered Himself as a holy and perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world for ONLY HE WAS GIVEN THE POWER AND AUTHORITY TO LAY DOWN HIS LIFE AND TAKE IT UP AGAIN ON THE THIRD DAY (Jn 10:17-18).

The Truth, we must understand, is this: because Christianity is not a religion, it is not governed by teachings of men.  Hence, what we find around us is not the True Church which is only One and unknown to man, and it is that which will be revealed at the Glorious Coming of Jesus Christ only.  What we find around us are more religious bodies in the name of Christianity.  They uphold teachings of men and usurp the glory due only to God for themselves.  The True Church is that which is planted by Jesus Christ, when the Good Seed of Life or the Gospel was first made known to man at the very beginning itself (for eg.Gen 3:15).  THEREFORE THE TRUE CHURCH DOES NOT HAVE A SHORT HISTORY OF ABOUT 2000 YEARS AS THESE PSEUDO-CHURCHES CLAIM AND TEACH.  The True Church has been progressing since the beginning (for eg. Abel, of whom Christ Himself has testified).

What is obvious is there in the Word and in your person.  Yet, do you pretend not to understand?

When God created man, i.e. both the male and the female, He created them in His likeness and in His image so that both male and female bore His Trinity image in perfect harmony of the Oneness of the Triune God.  HENCE GOD GAVE THEM THE NAME ‘MAN’ (GEN 5:2) AS THEY WERE THE ONLY CREATION WHO PERSONIFIED HIS TRINITY IN THEIR TRINITY COMBINATION OF BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT.  This is the reason Jesus Christ also calls Himself the ‘Son of man’ because though conceived of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the woman whom God calls ‘man’.  However, since their fall, they lost their glorious likeness and image of God.  Which means they lost the perfect trinity in them and became like the beast (Ps 49:12, Ps 57:4, Pss 22:12-13, Ps 73:22, Matt 3:7, Ezek 2:6b etc.).  This is the reason the Word of God states that the mark of the Beast is the number of man ‘666’ (Rev 13:18).  And, precisely the reason why it also adds, all who have the mark of the Beast will die and not partake of the First Resurrection which is the resurrection of the children of God.

Has anyone wondered why men are misogynists (even when they pretend they are not)?

Because, men have chosen to join hands with ‘the enemy of God’ whose enmity is manifested in his war against the woman and her offspring (Gen 3:15, Rev 12).  We must understand, unlike what the churches falsely teach, it is man who was unfaithful with God’s command that was entrusted to him, and it was he who truly disobeyed God and sinned.  It was man’s unfaithfulness (which continues in leaps and bounds!) which made the woman ignorant and caused her to be deceived.  Therefore, the curse that befalls man brought in death and destruction unto himself and through him unto the entire creation (Gen 3:17-19).  As a result, every male child became instruments of death and destruction.  As for the woman, she only inherits and passes on the curse of subjection to and desire of the fallen man to every female that is born.  This is exactly the reason why Mary was addressed as ‘Blessed’ for here was the first woman who truly rose from her curse and submitted to God.  And also the REASON why Jesus Christ who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and not of the seed of man did not bear the curse of sin and death, and as such He was sinless both by His birth and by His deeds – hence a Perfect and Holy sacrifice for the sins of the world.  No church or man has the power and authority to put the Seal of the Holy Spirit upon those who truly belong to God, and therefore it is something none can replicate.  It is given by God and visible only to Himself, His angels and also to the devil and his legion of demons, most of whom now reside in man (eg.Matt 12:43-45).  This is the reason the true children of God are persecuted without reason just as their Master was while He sojourned this earth in Flesh (eg. Jn 15:18-25, Rev 12).

So then, what are these churches truly?

THE ANSWER IS:  BABYLON, THE PROPHESIED HARLOT, WHO RIDES THE BEAST AND COURTS THE SPIRIT OF ANTI-CHRIST.  Yes, Babylon is the unfaithful one whose glory is the glory of the Beast.  Note how she boasts in their number and glories in the strength of it.  Yes, she rides on the glory of the Beast, who is her king (Isa 14:4a, 2 Thess 2:7-12, Rev 17:10-13), and not by the Holy Spirit.  She is the estranged one, the unfaithful one without the Husband (eg. Isa 54:1).  But just as God’s Word has revealed, both the Beast and the Anti-Christ hate her (eg. Jer 4:30, Rev 17:16), and they will ravage her to expose her sinful nakedness to the whole world (for eg. Jer 5:9-17, Jer 6:22-30)).  She will be brought to utter ruin and disappear without a trace (Rev 17:16, Rev 18:21).  Therefore, the Word of God exhorts, “…’Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.'” (Rev 18:4-5).  Yes, “..Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord….” (2 Cor 6:17-18).  FOR, THOUGH THEY BEGIN WITH THE SPIRIT, SOON THEY RETURN TO THEIR FLESHLY ROOTS TO RESIST, GRIEVE AND QUENCH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND UNBEKNOWN TO THEMSELVES, RETAIN THE MARK OF THE BEAST.  Remember, “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing.” (Jn 6:63).  As it states in Jer 6:16-17, even though the Lord directs them to stand at the crossroads and ask for the ancient paths, where the Good Way is, they refuse and would not even listen to their watchmen.  And, though the scriptures have been testifying to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, from the beginning (Jn 5:39-40), they turn a blind eye to it and distort the Word of God (eg. refer Jer 8:8).  Just as the Word testifies, they have eyes but do not see; ears but do not hear; they do not understand!

The Scripture is defined by Jesus as that which gives life because it testifies about Him (Jn 5:39-40).  Following are the scriptural testimonials of Jesus Christ since the very beginning:

1.  Gen 1:1 testifies to the Word of God which proceeded out of the mouth of God to create all things, beginning with the heavens and the earth.  Yes, the Word of God which becomes Flesh and comes in to this world – Jesus Christ, the One and Only Begotten Son of God (Jn 1:1-3).  Read Lk 1:35b, “………So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.”  Jesus Christ is God’s Word become Flesh.  Hence, He is the perfect revelation of God in Flesh, the Perfect and Holy sacrifice for the sins of men. Likewise, Gen 1:2 testifies to the presence of the Spirit.  Thus we see that the very first verses begin by testifying to the Triune identity of God – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It helps us to, for lack of a better word I’d say, ‘define’ God, which is:  GOD IS ONE AND FATHER OF ALL;  HE IS SPIRIT AND THEREFORE DOES NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL FORM; AND LASTLY HE IS THE HEIR OF ALL THINGS – CREATED AND TO BE CREATED.  Just as Jesus reveals, the Triune God does not do anything apart from One Another (eg. Jn 5:19, Jn 8:28-29, Jn 16:12-15).  It is the perfect Oneness of God, the perfect Trinity.

2. Therefore, in Gen 1:26, we read, “Then God said, “LET US make…”  which again bears testimony to God Who is Triune and Who is in perfect communion with One Another.  The Word of God has also revealed the nature of God that “God is Spirit” (Gen 1:2, Jn 4:24).  As such, Gen 1:26 is also the proclamation of the Coming of the Perfect Man because ‘man – the male and the female’ bore His likeness and His image to make His identity known as the ‘Son of man’, the Messiah or the Savior of mankind.

3. Gen 2:2 is the prophetic allusion to the eternal Sabbath after God’s work of redemption through Jesus Christ, His Son, is completed and the kingdom of God is established when Jesus shall lead the children of God into it at the end of this world and men will begin to dwell with God (Rev 21:1-5).

4.  Gen 2:21 symbolizes the Church, the Bride of Christ, who shall be created out of Jesus Christ, Her Husband, after His brief sleep of death. (Mind you, flesh and blood has no place in heaven.  This is the Spiritual Union and Oneness of God and men (eg. Jn 17:21-23).  For eg. As it states in Jer 33:11, “…….. the voices of Bride and Bridegroom….”, it is the spiritual wedding of the Lamb and there is only One Bridegroom (Jesus Christ) and one Bride (His Church).   Read Isa 51:1, “Listen to Me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the Lord:  Look to the Rock from which you were cut and to the Quarry from which you were hewn.”

5.  Gen 3:15 prophesies about the woman’s chosenness in the redemption plan of God, whose Offspring shall crush the head of the ‘enemy’, thus declaring Jesus’ vicarious death and victory over the enemy on the cross.

Moving on, we see that God continues to make known and teach and reveal the full Gospel which, let us not forget, is Jesus Christ, the Good Seed of Life.  Remember, how king Melchizedek who was the priest of God Most High offers ‘bread and wine’ to Abraham which we now know proclaims the Lord’s death (1 Cor 11:26b).  And, how God teaches Abraham ‘Not the mortal son of man but the Lamb of God’ whose sacrifice alone will take away the sins of the world (Jn1:29).  And, we see that God does not stop there but continues to send His prophets.

But, do men understand?

Do they receive and acknowledge God’s Word? Neither did the house of Israel (eg. Isa 43:27, Hos 6:7).  Read Ezek 2:3, “……they and their fathers have been in revolt against Me to this very day.”  Nor do the churches!  Did any of the churches permit freedom to their men and women from their respective curses?  Are they not all founded on some pet-doctrine or the other, half-truths basically? Did any of them acknowledge the woman’s chosenness and that she became the first to fulfill ‘the last will become first’?  For eg. which of these churches teach Truth which declares:  “..The Lord has created a new thing on earth – A WOMAN SHALL COMPASS A MAN.” (Jer 31:22).  None!  Instead, men continue to glory in their flesh and in the sons of their seed just as Israel continued to seek ‘the Son’ in their seed, as it was the wont of the fallen man (eg. Gen 5:29), and to try to placate God, as it were, by sacrificing THEIR lambs, goats and what have you!  They neither understood the futility of it nor turned to God to seek the Lamb of God.  Read Jn 1:17, “For the law was given through Moses, Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ.”  The law or the breaking of which summed up the fact that the wages of sin is death could not help man.  But Jesus Christ, having fulfilled the law, the scriptures and the prophets, sets man truly free from all bondages – of sin, of curses, of law and of death (Jn 8:36 – “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”). However, just as the Israelites failed to receive the prophesied Messiah due to the stubbornness of their hearts, so shall it be for these so called churches and their flocks – they will fail to meet the Lord at His glorious coming as King of kings and Lord of lords even though they pretend to wait for it (eg.Isa 5:19) and seem to hasten the Day of the Lord!

Finally, what of Islam and those that are bound by it even though they RIGHTLY CLAIM that they were appointed by God, but only to discipline His people – the straying Christians and the Jews, for that matter?

The Word of God warns, read Isa 10:15, “Does the axe raise itself above Him who swings it, or the saw boast against Him who uses it?  As if a rod were to wield Him who lifts it up, or a club brandish Him who is not wood!”  Full of arrogance and insolence, these men dare to do it!!!  So, they have come under the very judgement they were called to carry out.  For, they themselves failed to seek the Truth which is made known since the beginning.  Instead, they defy God and turn against Him who wields them.  So, now that they have come under double blood-guilt, who may save them?  Who may ransom them?  Their bloodied hands stained by the blood of His people have become indelibly stained by the holy Blood of the Son of God who died for the sins of the world (read Heb 10:28-31).  Therefore, their judgement is sealed since of old.  The Lord Himself will avenge them (Isa 14:4-6, “….. The Lord has broken the rod of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers….”)Read: “Therefore, the Lord, the Lord Almighty, will send a wasting disease upon His sturdy warriors; under his pomp a fire will be kindled like a blazing flame.  The Light of Israel will become a fire, their Holy One a flame; in a single day it will burn and consume His thorns and briers.  The splendor….it will completely destroy, as when a sick man wastes away.  And the remaining….will be so few that a child could write them down.” (Isa 10:16-19).  But, as for His people, “In that Day the remnant of Israel, the survivors of the house of Jacob, will no longer rely on him who struck them down but will truly rely on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.  A remnant will return, a remnant of Jacob will return to the Mighty God.” (Isa 10:20-21).

Where is the glimmer of hope, and how can one partake of it?

Therefore, to those who seek God, “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near…” (Isa 55:6-7).  Seek with all your heart, all your soul and with all your strength.  Because His promise is that those who seek will find.  Seek His kingdom and His righteousness.  Hunger and thirst for them, and you shall be filled.  This is His promise.  Analyze the cost and be willing to pay the price even if it costs you everything, even your present life.  Remember, He loved you so much that He gave His one and only Son that by believing Him you may not perish but have eternal life.  Yes, He first loved you, and even now, He is seeking you. Receive Him and abide in Him so that the fruits of the Spirit will begin to show.  Persevere in faithful obedience and patient endurance so that you may receive the Seal of the Spirit, the Crown of Life and the Robe of Righteousness and your salvation is made complete by the redemption of your body at His glorious Coming.

I wish to sum up the message with answers to following questions praying that you do not give the devil a foothold of doubt concerning it:

Q.1  If man is naturally bearing the seal of the Beast, why are men forced to receive the seal externally on their right hand or on their forehead during the reign of the Anti-Christ?

A.  Because, the True Church is invisible otherwise.  By enforcing the seal he seeks to identify True Christians on an individual basis to persecute them by sword, captivity and starvation.

Q.2  Why does Jesus call Himself ‘Son of man’ if Mary being the man here is of the seed of the beast i.e. the fallen man?

A.  The word ‘man’ is meant to honor Mary’s spiritual ‘virginity’ as a new-born child of God which is best understood as the pre-fall status of ‘man’ when he was not the beast he is now.

It is the folly of man that his focus continues to be on her physical virginity in spite of the fact that, after Jesus was born, Mary and her husband Joseph lived their normal married life and had children of their own.  However, since Jesus gave no importance to the flesh (refer Jn 6:63 – “…flesh counts for nothing” and Lk 16:15 – “…. What is highly valued among them is detestable in God’s sight.”), He was faithful to lead Mary according to the will and obedience of God (eg. Lk 2:49, Jn 2:4, Matt 12:48-50).  And, finally, as He lay dying on the cross with Mary weeping at the foot of it, He was faithful to entrust her to John, His faithful disciple.  For, having forsaken her all to faithfully follow Him, she had none in her family to turn to as at that time His own brothers and sisters did not believe in Him (eg. Jn 7:5).

What one ought not to forget is that the pre-fall ‘man’ is only the image and likeness of God Who was to appear as the “Perfect Man”.  This is the reason the Word of God states in Gen 2:25 that they were “naked” meaning not as perfect as God to make them eligible to live in Heaven, even though they were innocent of sin.  And this is THE REASON WHY JESUS DID NEVER CALL HIMSELF ‘MAN’, BUT ONLY AS “THE SON OF MAN”.   Yet, men, even the churches, dare to call Him ‘Man’ just as those who do not call Him ‘God’.  As the Son of man, Jesus did never deny His divine nature.  Yet, He took upon Himself the nature of ‘The Servant’ because by being born as the Son of man, He came to serve God the Father and fulfill His purpose on earth, willingly forsaking His glory until He had accomplished it.  Read Jn 8:50, “I am not seeking glory for Myself; but there is One who seeks it, and He is the Judge.”  His brief tenure in the Flesh portrayed the perfect nature of the Perfect Man, and this is what we are called to become.  Including Mary (eg. Mk 3:32-35).  It is not enough that we become ‘innocent’ like a new-born baby but that we grow into His perfection (eg.Matt 5:48).  Only then we may hope to be clothed to enter Heaven. Now we know that when the time came, and Jesus had faithfully accomplished His divine mission as the Messiah, He was exalted and glorified to sit at the right hand of the Father (Act 2:33).  Let it be the lesson of servitude for us.  Let us not seek our glory but wait for Him Who alone is the Judge (eg.Ps 75:6-7).

Q.3  Why did Jesus say, quote, ‘ Matt 12:32, “Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of man will be forgiven; but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.” unquote.’?

A.  Because men may pretend they do not know God or that ‘this God’ is the God of the Jews and the Christians or that they do not believe in Jesus Christ or that even if Jesus was true they could not believe because they had not seen Him and imagine that they could get away with their pretensions. Read Rom 1:18, “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness………since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.  For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that MEN ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE.”  However, since the coming of the Son of man and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in to the world thereafter (Acts 2:33), God’s grace is shown in its fullness to all mankind that they might repent and seek Him.  As such, none will be able to pretend innocence on the Day of His wrath, for everyone will recognize Him – kings, princes, generals, rich, mighty, slave and free (Rev 6:15-17).  And every knee will bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Phil 2:10-11, Rev 5:13).

Q.4  This brings us to the next question – Does that mean they could support their boasting which is “All paths are good.  They all lead to the same God.”?

A.   God is One, and there is no other.  And the path to God which works to our SALVATION is also only One (Jn 14:6).  All the other paths will of course ultimately lead one to the One and only True God, but unfortunately, to one’s condemnation and eternal JUDGEMENT! (Rev 20:12-13, 15; Rev 21-8).

Q.5   How can ‘Judgement’ be in the nature of the loving God?

A.  The question is devil-inspired, as it is his evil ploy to cover up his deeds.  Because,  Judgement, to begin with is meant for him (eg. 2 Pet 2:4, Ezek 28:19, Rev 20:10).  Let us remember God warned man of Judgement and Death right from the beginning (read Gen 2:17).   Yet, in spite of  man’s disobedience, God spared his life.  Though estranged from Him because of their sinfulness, He does not let them go before first planting hope by revealing His plan for their redemption (Gen 3:15) even though the curse of the law, i.e. death, had come upon them (Gen 3:19).  But we see that the devil only continues to deceive man, now finding him a willing accomplice.  For instance, note how Cain commits the first murder disregarding God’s warning (Gen 4:6).  This is the reason Jesus Christ reveals devil’s true nature of that of a murderer and a liar (Jn 8:44).  Lies are meant to delude, deceive and destroy.  God is neither a liar nor a destroyer.  Mal 2:16 states, “….. I hate a man’s covering himself with violence as well as with his garment.’ says the Lord Almighty.”  You see, it is man who covers himself with violence and goes about waging wars and destroying, never mind how he goes about justifying them.  This is the reason, even though David was forgiven, God does not permit him to build His temple ( read 1 Chron 22:7).   And, by God’s mercy, David becomes a symbol of man’s repentance and God’s forgiveness – read Isa 55:3, “Give ear and come to Me; hear Me, that your soul may live.  I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.”

Let us also remember, that the Lord has decreed since of old that He will judge both men and animals for the life-blood of man, read Gen 9:5, “And for your life-blood I will surely demand an accounting.  I will demand an accounting from every animal.  And from each man, too.  I will demand an accounting for the life of his fellow man.”   This is exactly what Jesus taught too.  He neither advocated nor taught the use of sword.  But He did warn, “‘Put your sword back in its place,’ Jesus said to him, ‘For all who draw the sword will die by the sword.'” (Matt 26:52b).  And even though God had substantiated His Word symbolically by the Great Flood and the judgement on Sodom and Gomorrah for examples, man’s spirit continues to strive in disobedience with the Spirit of God (Gen 6:3).  Finally, let it be known that the greatest reassurance that comes from the salvation of God is that He will finally avenge the enemy and all his followers, angels and men included, and bring about eternal rest and perfect peace (for eg. read what it says in Isa 14:7, “All the lands are at rest and at peace; they break into singing.” in the backdrop of the devil’s end.)  Yes, the Lord our God is a merciful God, but He is also a consuming Fire (Deut 4:31, 24, Heb 10:30-31, Heb 12:29).

Q.6  If Jesus is the Rock on which the Church is founded, why did He say to Peter that He will build His Church on Peter (Matt 16:18)?

A.  Because Jesus was prophesying the revelation of the Church, His Bride, which is the New Jerusalem described quite in detail in Rev 21.  Rev 21:14 reads, “The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.”  Now, Jesus reveals the name of the first of those twelve foundations which is Peter.  Read Eph 2:19-20 which states Church is God’s City and its members the citizens thereof, “…..built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets..”  Though the other names are not revealed, we know that the Church has been progressing since of old and the prophets or apostles of old have been laying down its foundations.  However, Peter’s election as the first is in keeping with God’s Word which declares that in the age to come, “…. many who are first will be last, and the last first.” (Mk 10: 29-31).  Peter’s prophetic election as an apostle and prophet and as the first of the 12 foundations of the Church is owing to the fact that Peter’s sermon on the day of Pentecost, after he receives the infilling of the Holy Spirit, will finally make known the full knowledge, fellowship and glory of the Triune God possible in and through man.  And it is only befitting that the Church’s foundation begins on it.  Finally, let us not forget God’s Word in Isa 51:1-2, which exhorts that the Church and all its living stones (1 Pet 2:4-5) are cut and hewn from the Rock, the Quarry that is Jesus Christ Himself, whether Abraham, Sarah, whoever, and of course Peter as in this case.  Therefore, continue to look to the Rock even as you delight in these revelations.

Q.7  How can one ensure one receives the Seal of the Holy Spirit?

  • By receiving and acknowledging God’s Word – the irrefutable and infallible Word of God only.
  • By believing in Jesus Christ and being washed by His holy blood.
  • By receiving the infilling of the Holy Spirit, which will be the Fountain of God’s Word welling up in you unto eternity if you take care not to resist, grieve or quench the Spirit.  (Man’s heart is like a land full of weeds, thorns and briers.  When he comes to Christ, he discovers he is cleansed of them.  But if he does not take the trouble of working on this land and keeping it weed free by planting good seeds in their place and taking care to nurture them unto fruitfulness, he will find his latter condition worse than his former condition, many times over! Refer Matt 12:43-45.)
  • By abiding in Christ and bearing much fruit.
  • By disassociating and not partaking of anything that is unclean and unholy in the sight of God, and grieving for those who do not heed His Word and persist in wickedness (eg. Ezek 9:4-6).  This is called the Spiritual Grief, akin to the godly sorrow mentioned in 2 Cor 7:10.  It is the partaking of the ‘overwhelming grief’ of God for His people.  It is the heart of God, and it is the understanding of His incredible Love for man. For instance, recognize it portrayed in Lk 19:41, “As He approached Jerusalem and saw the city, He wept over it.”  It is best described in Zech 12:10, “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a Spirit of grace and supplication.  They will look on Me, the One they have pierced, and they will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for Him as one grieves for a firstborn son.” Also read Isa 22:4, Isa 42:4, Jer 4:8, Jer 9:20-21, Gal 4:19, Lk 13:34-35, Lk 19:41-44 etc.
  • Finally, the wonderful consolation is that as we persevere with fervent zeal and faithfulness in this new life of the Spirit, He makes our calling and election sure (2 Pet 1:5-11).  Eg. Stephen (Acts 7:56), Paul (2 Tim 4:7-8) etc.  It is immaterial whether you are in glad company or entirely on your own (which is more than likely), most servants and children of God throughout the history of mankind have walked their spiritual walk with God on a one to One basis, beginning with Enoch, and have indeed fared better than the rest.  For eg. apostle John in the island of Patmos.

 May God bless you!
