[This is the rose that bloomed every year starting from the day His servant went to be with the Lord.  The single rose turned up without fail on his earthly birthday as well as the heavenly birthday. It brought instant smiles and never failed to surprise us.  The plant could not survive the excessive heat of this summer.  And we have moved on, grateful that God speaks to us in so many languages and in so many ways.  His all pervading Presence is the most reassuring thing to all who look to His Face.]
There’s a rose in my garden,
A messenger in a single bloom,
Conveying better than tongues of men
Hope that lifts every pall of gloom.
