PROPHETIC WARNING TO THE CHURCHES
[Forward: Christian Conversion is not ‘religious conversion’ even though churches are in the habit of parading it as such. For eg., here is a Hindu convert, here is a Muslim convert and so on and so forth! Christian Conversion is the conversion of a sinner in to the righteousness of God revealed to the whole world in Jesus Christ, His Son. It is the Path of godliness leading to the perfection of God so that one may partake of His eternal glory and dwell with Him. As such, a True Convert is unidentifiable, as sons of God will be revealed only at the consummation of their salvation which is by the redemption of their bodies at the glorious Coming of the Lord. Churches glory in the flesh, and therefore they have all, without exception, misinterpreted and distorted the Word of God, with wanton abandon and blatant disregard to the Truth that God’s Word is INFALLIBLE and IRREFUTABLE. They are not a spiritual household. Therefore, they cannot and WILL NOT discern Truth! For instance, the Spiritual meaning of the word “son” is heir – irrespective of the gender, the word “virgin” is new-born, the word “brother” is fellow child of God etc. Who has truly understood the lofty thoughts and ways of God? Who has truly heeded His Word? None! A ‘spirit of prostitution’ leads them all astray in to the hands of the ‘spirit of stupor’ who robs them off their sight and hearing so that they can neither see nor hear! And none understands. But, as faithful watchman of His flock, I cannot but declare His uncompromising Word even though they remain an obstinate and rebellious lot! ]
Why do Christians court Islam, which is a religion created by the spirit of the Anti-Christ (for eg. read 1 Jn 4:3) to oppose Christianity?
Let it be made perfectly clear that Christianity is not a religion. Religion is man seeking God whereas Christianity is God seeking man. Why does God seek man? Because He wishes to save him as He knows man cannot save himself. Unfortunately, man does not realize it, and therefore he pursues religion thinking that it will save him. How can man save himself or another when he himself is governed by sin, curses and above all, Death! Christianity is realizing that God has made the Way. It is realizing that one is a sinner, and that therefore one is utterly helpless to save oneself. Christianity is coming to the divine knowledge that only One who is conceived of the Spirit of God, and not of the cursed and death-ridden seed of man, is able to save, to redeem and to ransom man from the clutches of sin, death, curse and the law which is simply this: ‘The wages of sin is Death.’ and which is undeniably witnessed and experienced by one and all.
No man is born a Christian. To be a Christian, one has to be born again. Yes, even one who is born to a Christian couple. Because all men are born of the flesh, and flesh gives birth to flesh only. To be born again is to be born of the Spirit and of the Word of God, which transforms a person totally by the renewal of his mind, and the person begins to live the new life in the Spirit. Therefore, a True Christian is also a True Convert. THUS CHRISTIAN CONVERSION IS THE CONVERSION OF A SINFUL MAN OF FLESH INTO THE GODLY MAN OF THE SPIRIT. Let us understand, God does not see a man as a Hindu, a Muslim, a Catholic, a Protestant, a Buddhist, an Atheist or whatever are the very many labels man wishes to tag himself with. In God’s holy eyes, all are sinners.
Thus, to become a Christian is to become righteous by GROWING in the perfect holiness of God revealed to the whole world in His One and Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, the Messiah, who offered Himself as a holy and perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world for ONLY HE WAS GIVEN THE POWER AND AUTHORITY TO LAY DOWN HIS LIFE AND TAKE IT UP AGAIN ON THE THIRD DAY (Jn 10:17-18).
The Truth, we must understand, is this: because Christianity is not a religion, it is not governed by teachings of men. Hence, what we find around us is not the True Church which is only One and unknown to man, and it is that which will be revealed at the Glorious Coming of Jesus Christ only. What we find around us are more religious bodies in the name of Christianity. They uphold teachings of men and usurp the glory due only to God for themselves. The True Church is that which is planted by Jesus Christ, when the Good Seed of Life or the Gospel was first made known to man at the very beginning itself (for eg.Gen 3:15). THEREFORE THE TRUE CHURCH DOES NOT HAVE A SHORT HISTORY OF ABOUT 2000 YEARS AS THESE PSEUDO-CHURCHES CLAIM AND TEACH. The True Church has been progressing since the beginning (for eg. Abel, of whom Christ Himself has testified).
What is obvious is there in the Word and in your person. Yet, do you pretend not to understand?
When God created man, i.e. both the male and the female, He created them in His likeness and in His image so that both male and female bore His Trinity image in perfect harmony of the Oneness of the Triune God. HENCE GOD GAVE THEM THE NAME ‘MAN’ (GEN 5:2) AS THEY WERE THE ONLY CREATION WHO PERSONIFIED HIS TRINITY IN THEIR TRINITY COMBINATION OF BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT. This is the reason Jesus Christ also calls Himself the ‘Son of man’ because though conceived of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the woman whom God calls ‘man’. However, since their fall, they lost their glorious likeness and image of God. Which means they lost the perfect trinity in them and became like the beast (Ps 49:12, Ps 57:4, Pss 22:12-13, Ps 73:22, Matt 3:7, Ezek 2:6b etc.). This is the reason the Word of God states that the mark of the Beast is the number of man ‘666’ (Rev 13:18). And, precisely the reason why it also adds, all who have the mark of the Beast will die and not partake of the First Resurrection which is the resurrection of the children of God.
Has anyone wondered why men are misogynists (even when they pretend they are not)?
Because, men have chosen to join hands with ‘the enemy of God’ whose enmity is manifested in his war against the woman and her offspring (Gen 3:15, Rev 12). We must understand, unlike what the churches falsely teach, it is man who was unfaithful with God’s command that was entrusted to him, and it was he who truly disobeyed God and sinned. It was man’s unfaithfulness (which continues in leaps and bounds!) which made the woman ignorant and caused her to be deceived. Therefore, the curse that befalls man brought in death and destruction unto himself and through him unto the entire creation (Gen 3:17-19). As a result, every male child became instruments of death and destruction. As for the woman, she only inherits and passes on the curse of subjection to and desire of the fallen man to every female that is born. This is exactly the reason why Mary was addressed as ‘Blessed’ for here was the first woman who truly rose from her curse and submitted to God. And also the REASON why Jesus Christ who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and not of the seed of man did not bear the curse of sin and death, and as such He was sinless both by His birth and by His deeds – hence a Perfect and Holy sacrifice for the sins of the world. No church or man has the power and authority to put the Seal of the Holy Spirit upon those who truly belong to God, and therefore it is something none can replicate. It is given by God and visible only to Himself, His angels and also to the devil and his legion of demons, most of whom now reside in man (eg.Matt 12:43-45). This is the reason the true children of God are persecuted without reason just as their Master was while He sojourned this earth in Flesh (eg. Jn 15:18-25, Rev 12).
So then, what are these churches truly?
THE ANSWER IS: BABYLON, THE PROPHESIED HARLOT, WHO RIDES THE BEAST AND COURTS THE SPIRIT OF ANTI-CHRIST. Yes, Babylon is the unfaithful one whose glory is the glory of the Beast. Note how she boasts in their number and glories in the strength of it. Yes, she rides on the glory of the Beast, who is her king (Isa 14:4a, 2 Thess 2:7-12, Rev 17:10-13), and not by the Holy Spirit. She is the estranged one, the unfaithful one without the Husband (eg. Isa 54:1). But just as God’s Word has revealed, both the Beast and the Anti-Christ hate her (eg. Jer 4:30, Rev 17:16), and they will ravage her to expose her sinful nakedness to the whole world (for eg. Jer 5:9-17, Jer 6:22-30)). She will be brought to utter ruin and disappear without a trace (Rev 17:16, Rev 18:21). Therefore, the Word of God exhorts, “…’Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.'” (Rev 18:4-5). Yes, “..Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord….” (2 Cor 6:17-18). FOR, THOUGH THEY BEGIN WITH THE SPIRIT, SOON THEY RETURN TO THEIR FLESHLY ROOTS TO RESIST, GRIEVE AND QUENCH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND UNBEKNOWN TO THEMSELVES, RETAIN THE MARK OF THE BEAST. Remember, “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing.” (Jn 6:63). As it states in Jer 6:16-17, even though the Lord directs them to stand at the crossroads and ask for the ancient paths, where the Good Way is, they refuse and would not even listen to their watchmen. And, though the scriptures have been testifying to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, from the beginning (Jn 5:39-40), they turn a blind eye to it and distort the Word of God (eg. refer Jer 8:8). Just as the Word testifies, they have eyes but do not see; ears but do not hear; they do not understand!
The Scripture is defined by Jesus as that which gives life because it testifies about Him (Jn 5:39-40). Following are the scriptural testimonials of Jesus Christ since the very beginning:
1. Gen 1:1 testifies to the Word of God which proceeded out of the mouth of God to create all things, beginning with the heavens and the earth. Yes, the Word of God which becomes Flesh and comes in to this world – Jesus Christ, the One and Only Begotten Son of God (Jn 1:1-3). Read Lk 1:35b, “………So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.” Jesus Christ is God’s Word become Flesh. Hence, He is the perfect revelation of God in Flesh, the Perfect and Holy sacrifice for the sins of men. Likewise, Gen 1:2 testifies to the presence of the Spirit. Thus we see that the very first verses begin by testifying to the Triune identity of God – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It helps us to, for lack of a better word I’d say, ‘define’ God, which is: GOD IS ONE AND FATHER OF ALL; HE IS SPIRIT AND THEREFORE DOES NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL FORM; AND LASTLY HE IS THE HEIR OF ALL THINGS – CREATED AND TO BE CREATED. Just as Jesus reveals, the Triune God does not do anything apart from One Another (eg. Jn 5:19, Jn 8:28-29, Jn 16:12-15). It is the perfect Oneness of God, the perfect Trinity.
2. Therefore, in Gen 1:26, we read, “Then God said, “LET US make…” which again bears testimony to God Who is Triune and Who is in perfect communion with One Another. The Word of God has also revealed the nature of God that “God is Spirit” (Gen 1:2, Jn 4:24). As such, Gen 1:26 is also the proclamation of the Coming of the Perfect Man because ‘man – the male and the female’ bore His likeness and His image to make His identity known as the ‘Son of man’, the Messiah or the Savior of mankind.
3. Gen 2:2 is the prophetic allusion to the eternal Sabbath after God’s work of redemption through Jesus Christ, His Son, is completed and the kingdom of God is established when Jesus shall lead the children of God into it at the end of this world and men will begin to dwell with God (Rev 21:1-5).
4. Gen 2:21 symbolizes the Church, the Bride of Christ, who shall be created out of Jesus Christ, Her Husband, after His brief sleep of death. (Mind you, flesh and blood has no place in heaven. This is the Spiritual Union and Oneness of God and men (eg. Jn 17:21-23). For eg. As it states in Jer 33:11, “…….. the voices of Bride and Bridegroom….”, it is the spiritual wedding of the Lamb and there is only One Bridegroom (Jesus Christ) and one Bride (His Church). Read Isa 51:1, “Listen to Me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the Lord: Look to the Rock from which you were cut and to the Quarry from which you were hewn.”
5. Gen 3:15 prophesies about the woman’s chosenness in the redemption plan of God, whose Offspring shall crush the head of the ‘enemy’, thus declaring Jesus’ vicarious death and victory over the enemy on the cross.
Moving on, we see that God continues to make known and teach and reveal the full Gospel which, let us not forget, is Jesus Christ, the Good Seed of Life. Remember, how king Melchizedek who was the priest of God Most High offers ‘bread and wine’ to Abraham which we now know proclaims the Lord’s death (1 Cor 11:26b). And, how God teaches Abraham ‘Not the mortal son of man but the Lamb of God’ whose sacrifice alone will take away the sins of the world (Jn1:29). And, we see that God does not stop there but continues to send His prophets.
But, do men understand?
Do they receive and acknowledge God’s Word? Neither did the house of Israel (eg. Isa 43:27, Hos 6:7). Read Ezek 2:3, “……they and their fathers have been in revolt against Me to this very day.” Nor do the churches! Did any of the churches permit freedom to their men and women from their respective curses? Are they not all founded on some pet-doctrine or the other, half-truths basically? Did any of them acknowledge the woman’s chosenness and that she became the first to fulfill ‘the last will become first’? For eg. which of these churches teach Truth which declares: “..The Lord has created a new thing on earth – A WOMAN SHALL COMPASS A MAN.” (Jer 31:22). None! Instead, men continue to glory in their flesh and in the sons of their seed just as Israel continued to seek ‘the Son’ in their seed, as it was the wont of the fallen man (eg. Gen 5:29), and to try to placate God, as it were, by sacrificing THEIR lambs, goats and what have you! They neither understood the futility of it nor turned to God to seek the Lamb of God. Read Jn 1:17, “For the law was given through Moses, Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ.” The law or the breaking of which summed up the fact that the wages of sin is death could not help man. But Jesus Christ, having fulfilled the law, the scriptures and the prophets, sets man truly free from all bondages – of sin, of curses, of law and of death (Jn 8:36 – “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”). However, just as the Israelites failed to receive the prophesied Messiah due to the stubbornness of their hearts, so shall it be for these so called churches and their flocks – they will fail to meet the Lord at His glorious coming as King of kings and Lord of lords even though they pretend to wait for it (eg.Isa 5:19) and seem to hasten the Day of the Lord!
Finally, what of Islam and those that are bound by it even though they RIGHTLY CLAIM that they were appointed by God, but only to discipline His people – the straying Christians and the Jews, for that matter?
The Word of God warns, read Isa 10:15, “Does the axe raise itself above Him who swings it, or the saw boast against Him who uses it? As if a rod were to wield Him who lifts it up, or a club brandish Him who is not wood!” Full of arrogance and insolence, these men dare to do it!!! So, they have come under the very judgement they were called to carry out. For, they themselves failed to seek the Truth which is made known since the beginning. Instead, they defy God and turn against Him who wields them. So, now that they have come under double blood-guilt, who may save them? Who may ransom them? Their bloodied hands stained by the blood of His people have become indelibly stained by the holy Blood of the Son of God who died for the sins of the world (read Heb 10:28-31). Therefore, their judgement is sealed since of old. The Lord Himself will avenge them (Isa 14:4-6, “….. The Lord has broken the rod of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers….”). Read: “Therefore, the Lord, the Lord Almighty, will send a wasting disease upon His sturdy warriors; under his pomp a fire will be kindled like a blazing flame. The Light of Israel will become a fire, their Holy One a flame; in a single day it will burn and consume His thorns and briers. The splendor….it will completely destroy, as when a sick man wastes away. And the remaining….will be so few that a child could write them down.” (Isa 10:16-19). But, as for His people, “In that Day the remnant of Israel, the survivors of the house of Jacob, will no longer rely on him who struck them down but will truly rely on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. A remnant will return, a remnant of Jacob will return to the Mighty God.” (Isa 10:20-21).
Where is the glimmer of hope, and how can one partake of it?
Therefore, to those who seek God, “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near…” (Isa 55:6-7). Seek with all your heart, all your soul and with all your strength. Because His promise is that those who seek will find. Seek His kingdom and His righteousness. Hunger and thirst for them, and you shall be filled. This is His promise. Analyze the cost and be willing to pay the price even if it costs you everything, even your present life. Remember, He loved you so much that He gave His one and only Son that by believing Him you may not perish but have eternal life. Yes, He first loved you, and even now, He is seeking you. Receive Him and abide in Him so that the fruits of the Spirit will begin to show. Persevere in faithful obedience and patient endurance so that you may receive the Seal of the Spirit, the Crown of Life and the Robe of Righteousness and your salvation is made complete by the redemption of your body at His glorious Coming.
I wish to sum up the message with answers to following questions praying that you do not give the devil a foothold of doubt concerning it:
Q.1 If man is naturally bearing the seal of the Beast, why are men forced to receive the seal externally on their right hand or on their forehead during the reign of the Anti-Christ?
A. Because, the True Church is invisible otherwise. By enforcing the seal he seeks to identify True Christians on an individual basis to persecute them by sword, captivity and starvation.
Q.2 Why does Jesus call Himself ‘Son of man’ if Mary being the man here is of the seed of the beast i.e. the fallen man?
A. The word ‘man’ is meant to honor Mary’s spiritual ‘virginity’ as a new-born child of God which is best understood as the pre-fall status of ‘man’ when he was not the beast he is now.
It is the folly of man that his focus continues to be on her physical virginity in spite of the fact that, after Jesus was born, Mary and her husband Joseph lived their normal married life and had children of their own. However, since Jesus gave no importance to the flesh (refer Jn 6:63 – “…flesh counts for nothing” and Lk 16:15 – “…. What is highly valued among them is detestable in God’s sight.”), He was faithful to lead Mary according to the will and obedience of God (eg. Lk 2:49, Jn 2:4, Matt 12:48-50). And, finally, as He lay dying on the cross with Mary weeping at the foot of it, He was faithful to entrust her to John, His faithful disciple. For, having forsaken her all to faithfully follow Him, she had none in her family to turn to as at that time His own brothers and sisters did not believe in Him (eg. Jn 7:5).
What one ought not to forget is that the pre-fall ‘man’ is only the image and likeness of God Who was to appear as the “Perfect Man”. This is the reason the Word of God states in Gen 2:25 that they were “naked” meaning not as perfect as God to make them eligible to live in Heaven, even though they were innocent of sin. And this is THE REASON WHY JESUS DID NEVER CALL HIMSELF ‘MAN’, BUT ONLY AS “THE SON OF MAN”. Yet, men, even the churches, dare to call Him ‘Man’ just as those who do not call Him ‘God’. As the Son of man, Jesus did never deny His divine nature. Yet, He took upon Himself the nature of ‘The Servant’ because by being born as the Son of man, He came to serve God the Father and fulfill His purpose on earth, willingly forsaking His glory until He had accomplished it. Read Jn 8:50, “I am not seeking glory for Myself; but there is One who seeks it, and He is the Judge.” His brief tenure in the Flesh portrayed the perfect nature of the Perfect Man, and this is what we are called to become. Including Mary (eg. Mk 3:32-35). It is not enough that we become ‘innocent’ like a new-born baby but that we grow into His perfection (eg.Matt 5:48). Only then we may hope to be clothed to enter Heaven. Now we know that when the time came, and Jesus had faithfully accomplished His divine mission as the Messiah, He was exalted and glorified to sit at the right hand of the Father (Act 2:33). Let it be the lesson of servitude for us. Let us not seek our glory but wait for Him Who alone is the Judge (eg.Ps 75:6-7).
Q.3 Why did Jesus say, quote, ‘ Matt 12:32, “Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of man will be forgiven; but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.” unquote.’?
A. Because men may pretend they do not know God or that ‘this God’ is the God of the Jews and the Christians or that they do not believe in Jesus Christ or that even if Jesus was true they could not believe because they had not seen Him and imagine that they could get away with their pretensions. Read Rom 1:18, “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness………since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that MEN ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE.” However, since the coming of the Son of man and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in to the world thereafter (Acts 2:33), God’s grace is shown in its fullness to all mankind that they might repent and seek Him. As such, none will be able to pretend innocence on the Day of His wrath, for everyone will recognize Him – kings, princes, generals, rich, mighty, slave and free (Rev 6:15-17). And every knee will bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Phil 2:10-11, Rev 5:13).
Q.4 This brings us to the next question – Does that mean they could support their boasting which is “All paths are good. They all lead to the same God.”?
A. God is One, and there is no other. And the path to God which works to our SALVATION is also only One (Jn 14:6). All the other paths will of course ultimately lead one to the One and only True God, but unfortunately, to one’s condemnation and eternal JUDGEMENT! (Rev 20:12-13, 15; Rev 21-8).
Q.5 How can ‘Judgement’ be in the nature of the loving God?
A. The question is devil-inspired, as it is his evil ploy to cover up his deeds. Because, Judgement, to begin with is meant for him (eg. 2 Pet 2:4, Ezek 28:19, Rev 20:10). Let us remember God warned man of Judgement and Death right from the beginning (read Gen 2:17). Yet, in spite of man’s disobedience, God spared his life. Though estranged from Him because of their sinfulness, He does not let them go before first planting hope by revealing His plan for their redemption (Gen 3:15) even though the curse of the law, i.e. death, had come upon them (Gen 3:19). But we see that the devil only continues to deceive man, now finding him a willing accomplice. For instance, note how Cain commits the first murder disregarding God’s warning (Gen 4:6). This is the reason Jesus Christ reveals devil’s true nature of that of a murderer and a liar (Jn 8:44). Lies are meant to delude, deceive and destroy. God is neither a liar nor a destroyer. Mal 2:16 states, “….. I hate a man’s covering himself with violence as well as with his garment.’ says the Lord Almighty.” You see, it is man who covers himself with violence and goes about waging wars and destroying, never mind how he goes about justifying them. This is the reason, even though David was forgiven, God does not permit him to build His temple ( read 1 Chron 22:7). And, by God’s mercy, David becomes a symbol of man’s repentance and God’s forgiveness – read Isa 55:3, “Give ear and come to Me; hear Me, that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.”
Let us also remember, that the Lord has decreed since of old that He will judge both men and animals for the life-blood of man, read Gen 9:5, “And for your life-blood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each man, too. I will demand an accounting for the life of his fellow man.” This is exactly what Jesus taught too. He neither advocated nor taught the use of sword. But He did warn, “‘Put your sword back in its place,’ Jesus said to him, ‘For all who draw the sword will die by the sword.'” (Matt 26:52b). And even though God had substantiated His Word symbolically by the Great Flood and the judgement on Sodom and Gomorrah for examples, man’s spirit continues to strive in disobedience with the Spirit of God (Gen 6:3). Finally, let it be known that the greatest reassurance that comes from the salvation of God is that He will finally avenge the enemy and all his followers, angels and men included, and bring about eternal rest and perfect peace (for eg. read what it says in Isa 14:7, “All the lands are at rest and at peace; they break into singing.” in the backdrop of the devil’s end.) Yes, the Lord our God is a merciful God, but He is also a consuming Fire (Deut 4:31, 24, Heb 10:30-31, Heb 12:29).
Q.6 If Jesus is the Rock on which the Church is founded, why did He say to Peter that He will build His Church on Peter (Matt 16:18)?
A. Because Jesus was prophesying the revelation of the Church, His Bride, which is the New Jerusalem described quite in detail in Rev 21. Rev 21:14 reads, “The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.” Now, Jesus reveals the name of the first of those twelve foundations which is Peter. Read Eph 2:19-20 which states Church is God’s City and its members the citizens thereof, “…..built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets..” Though the other names are not revealed, we know that the Church has been progressing since of old and the prophets or apostles of old have been laying down its foundations. However, Peter’s election as the first is in keeping with God’s Word which declares that in the age to come, “…. many who are first will be last, and the last first.” (Mk 10: 29-31). Peter’s prophetic election as an apostle and prophet and as the first of the 12 foundations of the Church is owing to the fact that Peter’s sermon on the day of Pentecost, after he receives the infilling of the Holy Spirit, will finally make known the full knowledge, fellowship and glory of the Triune God possible in and through man. And it is only befitting that the Church’s foundation begins on it. Finally, let us not forget God’s Word in Isa 51:1-2, which exhorts that the Church and all its living stones (1 Pet 2:4-5) are cut and hewn from the Rock, the Quarry that is Jesus Christ Himself, whether Abraham, Sarah, whoever, and of course Peter as in this case. Therefore, continue to look to the Rock even as you delight in these revelations.
Q.7 How can one ensure one receives the Seal of the Holy Spirit?
- By receiving and acknowledging God’s Word – the irrefutable and infallible Word of God only.
- By believing in Jesus Christ and being washed by His holy blood.
- By receiving the infilling of the Holy Spirit, which will be the Fountain of God’s Word welling up in you unto eternity if you take care not to resist, grieve or quench the Spirit. (Man’s heart is like a land full of weeds, thorns and briers. When he comes to Christ, he discovers he is cleansed of them. But if he does not take the trouble of working on this land and keeping it weed free by planting good seeds in their place and taking care to nurture them unto fruitfulness, he will find his latter condition worse than his former condition, many times over! Refer Matt 12:43-45.)
- By abiding in Christ and bearing much fruit.
- By disassociating and not partaking of anything that is unclean and unholy in the sight of God, and grieving for those who do not heed His Word and persist in wickedness (eg. Ezek 9:4-6). This is called the Spiritual Grief, akin to the godly sorrow mentioned in 2 Cor 7:10. It is the partaking of the ‘overwhelming grief’ of God for His people. It is the heart of God, and it is the understanding of His incredible Love for man. For instance, recognize it portrayed in Lk 19:41, “As He approached Jerusalem and saw the city, He wept over it.” It is best described in Zech 12:10, “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a Spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on Me, the One they have pierced, and they will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for Him as one grieves for a firstborn son.” Also read Isa 22:4, Isa 42:4, Jer 4:8, Jer 9:20-21, Gal 4:19, Lk 13:34-35, Lk 19:41-44 etc.
- Finally, the wonderful consolation is that as we persevere with fervent zeal and faithfulness in this new life of the Spirit, He makes our calling and election sure (2 Pet 1:5-11). Eg. Stephen (Acts 7:56), Paul (2 Tim 4:7-8) etc. It is immaterial whether you are in glad company or entirely on your own (which is more than likely), most servants and children of God throughout the history of mankind have walked their spiritual walk with God on a one to One basis, beginning with Enoch, and have indeed fared better than the rest. For eg. apostle John in the island of Patmos.
May God bless you!
