Man’s world
In man’s world is virginity
The proof of woman’s chastity.
By him envisaged her integrity,
In his hands her destructibility.
If he had but wisdom to see
His deceitful heart, full of folly
He’d not judge by perjury
To wash his hands off her injury!
Irreconciled to his marred trinity
In his world of irreverent fertility
Like briers, sows his morbidity
To shroud God’s Word in ambiguity.
For only in God’s Word is reality –
The powerlessness of man’s entity
Shrouded in death and depravity
By his cursed seeds of iniquity.
His foolish heart full of futility
Darkened by notions of superiority
Humbles not before the Almighty
The only Author of his eternity.
