Why does God reveal Himself to man?  And how?

There are many people who claim to believe in God yet refute all knowledge of God. They’d like to believe that God is unfathomable and beyond man’s comprehension and hence insist on keeping it that way. Unfortunately for them, for having shunned all knowledge of God, they have only played into the hands of the evil one whose chief purpose it is to give credence to his lies in order to oppose God more and more.

Therefore to answer the question, ‘Why does God reveal Himself to man?’, in a nutshell it would simply be, ‘To equip and enrich man against Satan’s lies.’

The more God makes Himself known – which is both in Word and Deed, the more one realizes it is also ‘To empower man by His infallible Word to resist and defeat Satan’ so that, ‘Man may not perish with Satan, whose Judgment is certain, but be saved and restored to God forever’.

And how? As mentioned above, God reveals Himself to man in Word and Deed. In other words, whatever God speaks, He brings to fulfillment.  Read Isa 55:11, “So is My Word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

The Word of God stands as His Eternal Testimony (eg. Isa 30:8). Angels may rebel (as some of them did and are now called demons), man may fail (as the very first man did and brought about the cursed and death-ridden existence of mankind) and heaven and earth may pass away (as the corruption that is corroding at them will testify) but the Word of God shall never fail. What is more? No matter how the devil and his agents go about corrupting His Word, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear until everything He has said is accomplished.

For, ONLY THE WORD OF GOD HAS THE POWER TO TRANSFORM ITSELF INTO THE WORK OF GOD as exemplified in his work of creation. He sent forth His Word and they were created. Further exemplified in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son – the Word of God that became Flesh in order that everything man learned of Him in Word may be fulfilled and beheld in Flesh.

The Word of God testifies and warns that ALL THAT MAY BE KNOWN ABOUT HIM IS MADE PLAIN TO MAN not only from His corresponding deeds of Creation but also from His corresponding deeds of Regeneration – all that have been irrefutably accomplished so far and the rest that are underway and due to come to its fulfillment at the appointed time. Therefore man is without excuse!
