[This article is written as a response to the world-wide  obsession, of Christian communities in particular, on the happenings of the political arena of USA.  Every presidential candidate is discussed about as hotly as if their very existence depended upon it.

How does the politics of America differ from the politics of any other nation?  Are they all not one and the same?  Ruthless and vainglorious men, vying with God and fellow-men, to propel themselves on to the forefront of a nation’s power and economy so they can misuse them to their own selfish advantage?  So what if they pretend to take or not take the Name of God to achieve their goals? Does it make any difference?  Are they all not slaves to ‘mammon’, their god, and isn’t America just the Mecca of mammon worshipers?]

Christians everywhere are a troubled lot.  Though once again they would like to convince themselves it is the outside world that is the cause of it, it is not so.   The Truth is their trouble stems from within themselves – a trouble that I might paraphrase as “spiritual persecution” to best explain it.  It simply means they are a people subjected to evil spirits and not to the Holy Spirit as they ought to have been.  Refer Jer 28:8-9, Ezek 13:8-16 etc.

If they were to turn to the Holy Spirit, He’d show them that all that is happening around them is JUST AS IT WAS FORETOLD BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD SINCE TIME IMMEMORIAL!  (For eg., note how Jesus reminds us of them in Lk 21:22, “For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written.”)  But no, that is something they’d never do.  Instead they’d continue to look to mortal man, who is also the ‘unfaithful man’ – “unfaithfulness” being the undying legacy he received from his first father (Hos 6:7, Isa 43:27, Ezek 2:3b, Mal 3:7, Zech 1:2, Ps 78:57 etc.)!

Hence never mind how vociferous they get (thanks to the far-reaching effects of social media available to them today) whether it is in condemning Obama or celebrating Trump or even the other way around – THEY JUST GO ON TO FULFILL WHAT GOD HAS TESTIFIED OF HIS SO-CALLED PEOPLE IN 1 SAM 8:7-9, “…….. THEY HAVE REJECTED ME AS THEIR KING. ……..WARN THEM SOLEMNLY AND LET THEM KNOW WHAT THE KING WHO WILL REIGN OVER THEM WILL DO.”

Next, if they were to turn to the Holy Spirit, He’d teach them all Truth.  But no, they’d have none of it.  They’d rather advocate the Bible which is nothing but a carefully connived compilation of the words of the ‘unfaithful man’ in order that it may completely obliterate the Word of God that was and is being entrusted to the faithful few by knowledge of which the Bible is being marketed in the first place.  For example, note how it is that till date the so-called children of God live by the ‘LIE’ of the unfaithful man as told in Gen 2:23 even though the Word of God has provenly and ABSOLUTELY repudiated it? – eg Matt 26:26-28!

The end-result is that instead of preparing themselves for the Second Coming of the Lord in order that they may partake of the prophesied ‘First Resurrection of the righteous’, they remain deluded by the false teachings of “rapture” introduced by “the unfaithful man” and continue to seek the glory of the ‘mortal man’ forgetting the Word of God which forewarns of the “ABOMINATION THAT CAUSES DESOLATION, STANDING WHERE IT DOES NOT BELONG” (eg. Matt 24:15, Mk 13:14, Lk 21:23-28, Rev 13:8-10 etc.).

AND, FINALLY, for the nth time, let me remind that the Word of God has very clearly stated that “666” which is the sign or the identity of the “beast” is IN FACT THE NUMBER OR SIGN OF MAN (Rev 13:18).  INDEED MAN, SINCE HIS FALL, IS NOTHING BUT A BEAST (eg. Ps 49:12 & 20, Ps 57:4, Ps 58:3-5, Ps 22:12-14 etc.).

At the height of his glory, he will only lead men into worshiping him (Rev 13:4).  He will only utter proud words and blasphemies (Rev 13:5).  He will blaspheme God and slander His Name and His dwelling place and those who live in Heaven (Rev 13:6).  He will make war against the saints and conquer them (Rev 13:7).  It will be either the sword or captivity for them (Rev 13:10).

This has been true throughout the history of mankind, and why do we expect things to change suddenly.  If anything, as the Word of God testifies, it will only grow worse.  Therefore be warned!  As it is written, Jer 17:5-6, “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength, and whose heart turns away from the Lord.  He will be like a bush in the wastelands, he will not see prosperity when it Comes.  He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.”

Rather, turn to the Lord.  For, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.  He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out the roots by the stream.  It does not fear when heat comes, its leaves are always green.  It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (Jer 17:7-8).
